10. When he is in bed, there is a noise down the stairs.
The noise wakes him up. It is midnight.
- What „s wrong? What‟s
happening here?
- I can‟t sleep! - he shouts…
But no one hear him.

11. He goes to the first floor down the stairs, but when he is there he doesn‟t
hear anything.
- Hello? Is there someone there? There „s no light here!
And he thinks in something brightly: the “jack-o‟-lantern”!
He had forgotten the pumpkin with the little candle.

12. When he has the “jack-
o‟-lantern”, he uses a
lighter to light the candle
inside the pumpkin.
Then, he takes the
brightly pumpkin
to the door.
