Part XXXVII Thirty Seven

Dwight Scott was not
looking to be a hero ….
… He was looking to be
a man
Presents
2. This is the eight 0’clock news and
I am Bob Clock. Tonight, it is very
important that everyone
throughout New York City gets in
their homes and locks the doors
by right around now. There are
criminals, pesticides, stalkers all
crawling around the neighborhood
in every area of the city.
Everyone, please, for your own
safety, stay inside tonight and
lock your doors.
3. Thanks to a leak of information that got out all
around the city, there are mobsters, criminals,
pesticides, stalkers, creepers, freaks, killers,
thugs, all hitting the streets tonight.
And watch out for the Impactor. With the wave of crime that is breaking out
tonight, he or she is sure to be a part of it. The Impactor is a super hero turned
to a criminal who went out to stop the bullies only to become a bully himself.
He too, if our predictions are correct, is set to be hitting the streets tonight.
4. This has
been the
eight
0’clock
news. I
am Bob
Clock.
That was back at around eight if it was not terribly obvious. Then nine went by. Then it was ten 0’clock. Sounds of
crime had been going by outside of my college window around nine 0’clock. By ten I had finished my paper and it
was time to go out and fight some crime. This time, I was not fighting crime just for the justification of my early
childhood trouble. This time, I was fighting for the city around me.
5. A lot of bullies were out looking for me. A lot of bullies were waiting for me to come
to them and take me out in order to keep me out of their plans. Also, the heroes
were waiting for me to get in their way too. Both the good guys and the bad guys
were out there and there I was trying not to collide with either of them. With
everyone on the street being either a hero, a crook or a cop, I was in a maze, a
maze with which I was provided just one way out.
21. This could be a
trap…. But I am
listening.
Wait! Wait! I mean you no
harm, Acro Boy! I am the
Impactor and I mean no evil!
If you are the superhero I
believe you are, then you will
listen to me, you will hear me
out, please. Please!
22. I explained to him my situation. He explained his to me. It turns out that he too was bullied. He was fighting as a
super hero for a year and he was out there fighting as a super hero not to get revenge, no revenge, just for
justice. His bullying did not anger him into being a super hero. He was outcast for all of his school days, and
then got bullied really hard during his freshman year in high school. He was a sophomore in high school when I
was talking to him. Such a good kid and here I was going to hurt him. Of course, it was because he tried to bash
my head in, but still. He spread to word that I was good, the word spread fast, and other heroes started to leave
me alone. He even showed me a secret hiding place where I could get some rest, which I did at around a little
after midnight. I got back up by two in the mourning and went out to fight some more crime in the night.
23. Being Relaxed Felt Great!!
Now To
See Who
Else I Can
Bust!!
Where Are
Those Screams
Coming From ??
24. As my adrenaline continued to rush, I heard some more yelling and I rounded
another corner. There was a group of men all wearing matching costumes including
matching masks and hoods and capes all kicking a man on the ground.
25. Then All Four Of Them Came At Me
Release The
Man At Once!
32. Wow, so the Legion of Super Heroes was ready to bring me to justice at 10
0’Clock last night and at 2 0’Clock this mourning; they were bringing justice to me.
Leave My Loyal-Men
Alone! Leave My
Loyal-Men Alone!
Aw, Screw It. I Will
Go After Him Myself
Not Hearing The Comments
You See On The Left, I
Crawled Into The Next
Building.
34. Soon, I entered the building right next to me. It turns out that we were fighting right
outside the gymnasium at my school. I crawled inside because I knew that there
would be an infirmary in there and I could get some stuff I needed to heel up. As I
entered the gymnasium, using my key that I luckily had on me, I opened up the
cabinet in the infirmary to start applying medicine on my wounds. Before I could
choose which medicine I wanted to use, I started hearing cries from another room
nearby. The cries were louder than what the criminals and the victims were yelling
out on the street. The cries were louder. It sounded like a large group of people were
calling out for help.
