The Great Irish Legends
Topics  Ireland Republic: Location, music, people, holidays and festivals.
 The Saint Patrick Story and the symbols: The Shamrock, the
Leprechauns, and the Blarney Stone

Context Students of eighth grade. They live in 2 and 3 social level. They are
between 12 and 14 years old.
Time four weeks - two hours per week
Objective To recognize and value the importance of the traditions related to
the culture of the English country Ireland.
Specific
Objectives  To develop listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar and
cultural skills through different kinds of exercises.
 To understand why some of these legends are considered as
national holidays in the United States.
