9. International cooperation
Departments of VFN have long been involved in international
research. Employees depart at frequent international
internships and VFN is contrary to experts from foreign
institutions.
VFN collaborates with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Texas Heart
Institute in Houston, University Hospital Regensburg,
Paracelsus Private Medical University Salzburg,
Universitätsspital Basel, Vienna General Hospital and many
others.
Many experts of VFN are involved in the management
committees of international institutions such as the
European Organization for Research and Therapy Cancer
(EORTC).

10. Plans for future (5 years)
Directed to the modernization of VFN, the centralization of
remote workstations, optimal configuration, continuity and
transport services within the appropriate environment for
patients.
The plans build on vacant government funding decisions
that will be used for preparatory and project work.
VFN direct future to match the cutting-edge medical facilities
of the 21st century.
At the same time in order to develop a full range of services,
introduce new methods and participate in teaching and
research. 10
