   betw    een 80- 100 m illion. Today, there is not even 10
   m illion.

    Me xic o and Ce ntral Ame ric a .

The Caribbean Sea Natives –The
first ones
   They w the Indians w had it w
             ere               ho           orst, w could not defend

    them   selves.
   It w be located in Santo Dom
        ill                            ingo, in the Island of Hispaniola
   The centerpiece w be a young native m chained and on
                        ill                       an,
    his knees crying to the heavens, w     hile being w  hipped by a
    colonizer. This m is spotted, representing the m
                       an                                   any
    diseases that Europeans spread. Behind him is the colonizer
    holding a w in one hand and in the other a crucifix
                 hip
    representing the religion they (colonizers) claim to carry -
                                                          ed
    Christianity, w hich Indians w forced to believe, and the
                                     ere
    w representing the aw slaughters that the Indians
      hip                       ful
    suffered
   Around the Centerpiece w be a big grave yard, sym
                                 ill                           bolizing
    the Native Taíno extinguish.
   It w all be m
        ill        ade of ancient stone and m     arble
One day, in front of Las Casas, the Spanish dismembered,
beheaded, or raped 3000 people. 'Such inhumanities and barbarisms
were committed in my sight,' he says, 'as no age can parallel....' The
Spanish cut off the legs of children who ran from them. They poured
people full of boiling soap. They made bets as to who, with one
sweep of his sword, could cut a person in half. They loosed dogs that
'devoured an Indian like a hog, at first sight, in less than a moment.'

    their face. This represents the treacherous approach the
    Spaniards had tow    ards the South Am    erican Indians. The
    Statue of the chief, a tall m w represents the
                                  an ho
    greatness of the nation, is vested in silver, and that
    represents the Indians w    ealth in South Am   erica, especially
    of silver. The m onum surrounding is also decorated in
                           ent
    typical Indian artifacts, im printed of the stone m  onum s ent’
    floor
   The m   onum w be located in the ancient city of Cuzco,
                 ent ill
    the past capital of the Inca Em   pire, and also their place of
Mexico and Central America
   The e xac t lo c atio n o f this mo nume nt wo uld be at the he art o f
    the bus tling c ity o f Me xic o , the re as o n be ing it was the anc ie nt
    c apital o f the Azte c Empire , Te nó c hitlan .

    in this m   onum from the other m
                     ent                   onum  ents is that the
    little girl would stand alone (w hile in the others, there is
    the presence of the colonizer). She represents the
    people that w on the m
                    ere          arch of the Trail of Tears, the
    Indians that w secluded from the Early Am
                     ere                               erican
    settlers and the last Indians w w driven out of their
                                     ho ere
    lands in the plains. Her DENIED sign represents the fact
    that the Indians w denied the right of autonom to
                         ere                               y
    defend their lands legally
   It w be located in Oklahom City, OK, because that’
         ill                       a                            s
    w  here the natives w  here “throw into.
                                       n”
The “Silent Hope”
   Represents the last stand of the Native Indians
   In centerpiece of this m   onum  ent, the sculpture is of a girl
    hiding in the forest, in the bushes, only her eyes visible.
    In front of her is a goblet filled w w
                                        ith ater, and in this
    w ater is w ritten in sm golden and silver tablets the
                            all
    nam of the Indian leaders w died trying to protect
         es                           ho
    their people, all the resisters of colonizer oppression.
    The girl is hiding from it, because it proves to her that her
    kind is no longer valued. All of the m   onum is white
                                                   ent
    marble , and it w be located in NewYork City, the m
                        ill                                    ost
    im portant city in the W orld
