This document summarizes an article about Joycee Arneja, a 34-year-old housewife from Ludhiana, India who lost 10 kg over six months through maintaining a strict routine. The routine included going for walks daily and sticking to a diet prescribed by her dietician that is high in protein as she is vegetarian. She ensures plenty of protein at breakfast, vegetables and chapatis for lunch and dinner, and a salad. Maintaining this routine has helped her stay fit. Her husband and friend praise her for being an inspiration for healthy living.

JOYCEE ARNEJA
KEEPING IT REAL
While I was taking care of the kids all the time I was not able to
give myself enough time. However, they have now started going to
school and I have time for myself. I make sure that I follow what I
need to do in order to bring my body fit.
WHAT’S THE SECRET?
I am a vegetarian and I make sure that there is plenty of protein
in my diet. I don’t do anything extra, but I make sure that I go for
my walk and that I stick to the diet that I have been prescribed by
my dietician.
Thirty four-year-old Joycee Arneja dotes
on her nine-year-old twins. After the kids
were able to start going to school and Joycee
found time to herself, she decided to work
on her health. She says that staying fit is all
about routine. This housewife lost 10 kgs over
a period of six months and gives the credit
to the stringent routine that she has been
following.
I have
learnt a lot
from Joycee. She
has put me onto
the path of being
