3.  More nurses are engaging in community-based nursing (CBN),
where the focus is on “illness care” of individuals and families
across the life span.
 Community-oriented nursing focuses both on the health care of
entire communities or populations and the health care of
individuals, families, and groups; this category includes the
specialty of public health nursing.
