This document provides criteria for assessing the quality of WebQuests based on a scoring matrix. It evaluates WebQuests across several dimensions, including how engaging the opening is, the clarity of the task and question, background provided for students, roles used, use of the web, level of higher-order thinking, feedback loops, and strength of the conclusion. Each dimension is scored as low, medium, or high, with high receiving 3 points and low receiving 1 point. A total score between 13-15 is considered good, 16-19 very good, and 20-24 excellent. The goal is to better understand how to create effective web-based learning activities.
