• Individual Therapy with DJJ adolescents 14 to 20-years-old.
• Guided clients in therapeutic exercises integrated from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Participated in weekly treatment team meetings with licensed mental health professionals,
school board officials, and teachers to discuss client’s mental health progress and needs.
• Led daily group therapy sessions: Skill-Building, Team-Building, Drug Awareness, and Current
Events.
• Experience in writing individualized goals and objectives in Master Treatment Planning, Case
Conceptualization, Progress Notes, and Monthly Treatment Plan Reviews in accordance with
DJJ/OJJDP/DCF standards.
• Conducted: Intake Exams, Brief Behavioral Intake Exams, Suicide and Safety Assessments,
Biopsychosocial Assessments, CFARS and FARS, and Discharge Summaries.
• Experience in writing Psychiatric Updates and Reviews for the on-site Psychiatrist
• Led Anger Replacement Training Series (ART) 3x a week for 10 weeks with designated groups:
Skill-Streaming, Anger Control Chain, and Moral Reasoning.
• Worked with clients on implementations of coping skills, refusal skills, and pro-social activities
in real-life settings; and integrated the use of role-plays in sessions.
• Administered Conners-3 Assessments for ADHD.
