Bethany Hamilton is a professional surfer from Hawaii who has won several competitions. At age 13 she had already won two major surfing events. She is known for surviving a tiger shark attack in 2003 while surfing in Hawaii, which resulted in the loss of her left arm but she continued her surfing career. Now she is one of the most popular female surfers in the world and has won many competitions globally despite her adversity in overcoming the shark attack at a young age.

Bethany Hamilton is known as the girl that survive to a shark attack.The 31th of October
of 2003,Hamilton went to the beach to surf.While she was surfing a tiger shark bite her left
arm.She lost the 60% of her blood in her body.They take her to hospital and they make
her an operation.10 months after the attack,she started to surf again.Nowadays Hamilton
is a professional surfer and she won a lot of competitions all around the world.
