Rhetorical AnalysisEssay“When PrisonersProtest”wasintendedtoreach anyone whocaresabout the
mistreatmentthatgoesunrecognizedin the correctional institutions.LastlyMyResearch“How to cope
with anxietyin a naturalor healthy way?”wasintendedtohelpotherswithremediesbeside medication
or whenprescriptionmedicationisunavailable.
I hope to accomplishgreatwork.I wantpeople tosee mywritingasreal life issuesthataffectsusall
somehoworsomeway.Iwantpeople tohave empathyforothers whomaybe experiencingthe lossof a
lovedone, orthinkabouta saferrehabilitation systemforourlovedones,andmainly helpingothers
cope withthe sufferingsof anxiety.Istronglybelieve whenwe helpotherswe are simplyhelping
ourselvesasone.
All mydrafts neededmore insighttohelpme developasawriter.Each one startedoff as unsatisfactory
work.I didnot like the “ShittyDrafts”.Ithenbeganto thinkmore of how to paraphrase andmake my
writingeasytounderstand.Ineverwantedtoleave myreaderwithabunch of nonsense.So,formy
final draftsI carefullyreread andcorrected eachone withcautionandbecame satisfiedwithmyfinal
revisions.
It has beenawhile since IbeenbackinCollege.Inever finishedEnglishbecauseof some unfortunate
eventsandmyown discouragementheldme back.Startingoff Iwantedtoquit.I feltIwas not ready.
But whatdoesthat trulymean“I’m notready forwhat?” I challengedmyself andfoundsupportinthis
classthat all writing“doesnotcome out perfect”andmy hope wasrestoredto pressonin thisclass.I
realizedIamnow more confidentandreadytocontinue writingto expandingmymind.Ifoundthisclass
as a positive tool torelease storiesof feelingsIholdsodeeplyinside,andanalyze them.Ihave learned
howto navigate betteronmy computer,whatethos,logosandpathosare, that rhetoricisthe art of
persuasive speaking,thata narrative isa writtenaccountof connectedevents, andthatresearchwill
have manyopinions andnewconclusions.Ienjoyedthe feedbackfrommyinstructor/peersthatIwas
doingwell andIappreciatedthe constructive criticism whenIcando better.Ilovedputtingmythoughts
intoworkand studyingonhowto become greater.Ienjoyedinteractingatlaband overall learningthe
differentpaperswe were assigned(Narrative,Rhetorical Analysis,andResearch) theywere all growing
experiences.
Thisis myfirsttime writing all three essaysandfinishinganEnglishcourse.I wantpeople toknowthatI
am a compassionate personandIlove tofindwaysto helpor raise awarenessof somethingthatItruly
care about.I am goal orientedandIalwaysbelieve thatajobdone rightcomesfrom trustwithin.Iam
my biggestcriticandhugestfan. Asyou readmy work I hope you findthe same compassionand
