In the video, students with blue eyes were subject to discrimination to prove a point. This
point was how discrimination can make you feel isolated, threatened, etc. The woman leading
the presentation stated “If they get power, we lose power.” This was my “Ah-Hah” moment.
She chose to fight fire with fire. This, in my opinion, is not the correct or efficient way to teach
anyone. I feel she began to discriminate while teaching to not discriminate. The leader basically
said she believes all white people discriminate; that is discrimination in itself. All in all, the
video made me angry.
