Swincle is a new 5-member girl group comprised of rapper Mika, Jihee, main vocal Songhee, leader Jisoo, and vocal Haeran. They were trained for two years in singing and dancing. While their agency wants Swincle to be like the successful group KARA, they acknowledge Swincle needs more experience. Swincle finished recording their mini album "Shake Ur Body" in January and will promote it upon its March release. Leader Jisoo previously trained with another company to debut but did not.
1. The new girl group Swincle has finally unveiled its five members
and their roles.Having been trained intensely for the last two years
in singing and dancing, Swincle is comprised of
rapper Mika (21), Jihee (19), main vocal Songhee (22),
leader Jisoo (20), and vocal Haeran (21). It is said that they all
have unique personalities, ranging from cute to confident.Their
agency, Kant Entertainment, stated, “Swincle wants to be
like KARA in terms of musicality. They currently lack too much to
match KARA’s reputation, but their powerful, cute, and confident
image can surely captivate the fans“.They also added, “Swincle
finished recording and mastered the choreography in January, but
considering the KARA issue, we delayed their debut to March“.On
the other hand, Swincle’s leader, Jisoo, is gaining attention for
reportedly having trained to debut as a Rainbow member.Kant
Entertainment announced, “The leader of Swincle is Jang Jisoo,
who trained with DSP Media to debut as a Rainbow
member“.Meanwhile, Swincle will release their mini album “Shake
Ur Body” online in mid-March, and will actively promote the
album.
This is one story I researched on a girl band that has just been formed. I
found this useful as it relates to what I want to include in my work. It is
about a girl band that want to become successful.
E-Tribe, the producers of the major hit song “Gee,” have created a
new 6 member girl group called Dal★Shabet.Happy Face
Entertainment announced,“Dal★shabet is a new 6 member girl
group, they’ve just recently finished their jacket photos. Our goal is
to debut these girls in January of 2011.”“Girls’ Generation, Super
Junior, Lee Hyori, T-ara, MBLAQ and other popular idol groups
have had their hit songs made by E-Tribe. From intro to their title
song, the songs were composed and even the lyrics were made
by E-Tribe. They have the know-how due to their experience with
creating a variety of hit songs for a variety of idol groups. The
expectation for Dal★shabet’s songs are very high.” There are high
expectations for Dal★shabet since E-Tribe is known to produce
major hit songs! If this new girl group meets all expectations,
maybe they’ll be some competition for SNSD…
2. This is about a girl band with 6 members that are all wanting fame, it
talks about what they are aiming to do and that they have competition
with another girl group. I found this useful as I want to base my story
around this too.
Wonderland are an Irish girlband, formed by Louis Walsh and
Westlife band-member Kian Egan. The band were put together
after auditions were held for five females in July 2008. Its five

will be released on 25 February 2011 in Ireland and on 4 March
2011 in the United Kingdom. Their as yet untitled debut album will

them as a guideline for what my story should be about. It is about the
formation of a girl group in 2011.
SHE’S the Liverpool girl who has gone from weekend classes at
LIPA to hobnobbing with Shakira and Alexandra Burke. So Insider
couldn’t wait to catch up with Lauren Deegan who is one fifth of
girlband Parade (think The Saturdays). The 22-year-old took time
out from supporting Alex on her All Night Long UK tour to spill the
beans on life backstage, hula-hoop contests on the road with Hips
Don’t Lie singer Shakira – and their debut single.Lauren, from
Woolton, says: “We supported Shakira for three dates on her tour.
This is a story I decided to research and include within my research, it is
about a young girl that is in a new formed girl band called Parade. It is
focusing on her success. I wanted to include more of a group story in my
newspaper.

This is about a well known girl band called Girls Aloud, they were
formed a few years back and have been inspirational to many young girls.
I wanted to base my newly formed girl band around Girls Aloud. It
focuses on their awards and singles that are very successful.
An exciting new Girl Group is being formed under a potential
management group. After being approached by interested
managers, this group is being formed to bring a new and exciting
energy to the music industry. This group are now currently looking
for one or two new members to complete it.
The band will begin work straight away, initially working on covers
to get to know the group’s sound, and then will begin work in the
studio writing their own music. The music will be inspired by Pop
and Indie with each song holding its own unique twist. The band
wants to be respected for their own music ability creating beautiful
harmonies and singing live at every opportunity.
This story is too brief to base my story around. I want to include a
more forward approach so they are more known after reading my
story.
