CHRISTMASINSCOTLAND
Scottish people celebrate Christmas just the same
as the Americans and the English. A lot of people
believe they only celebrate at Hogmanay, but that
is not the case. They have turkey, give and receive
presents, go to their family's houses and some go
to church. Traditionally, they put up a Christmas
tree 12 days before Christmas and take it down 12
days after.
Children write to Santa to ask what they would
like for Christmas. People leave some biscuits and
milk . Some people have advent calanders. Also
some schools do a nativity and carol singing.
