Acknowledging Suffering Analysis
In life, I personally think that it is undoubtedly hard for people to admit their mistakes, even myself. Sometimes, you personally know that you're
wrong, but you don't want to admit due to guilt or wrongdoing. It is just human nature to always think that you are correct and you can't seem to accept
the other person's opinion or fact, even though they are right. Depending on what the situation is, most people decide in their heads, to decide whether
the issue or relationship between the person is more important. Whether you want to teach the other person between wrong and right or setting this
aside the preserve the friendship. In addition to this, we all have developed our own identity and how we personally view ourselves. Acknowledging...

Throughout the world you see people suffering everywhere on the streets, at home, at work, etc. Today in society we see and know so many
people that are wise and successful. However, with the wise and success, came some adversity. They all started somewhere and rose to the top
gradually. In my opinion, wisdom has to come with some kind of suffering because if you don't experience anything, it is hard to learn from your
experiences and become wise from them. Though you can learn from other people's mistake and feed off from that. However, you never know
how something feels until you actually experience it. Something I have learned from someone else, was when someone that had anxiety and
depression. You don't know how hard it is to deal with them, until you actually have it. Though, I don't have anxiety and depression, I can't say
much about it, but I always hear people say just look on the bright side. Though it is not easy as it sounds. Moreover, I personally think no one can
truly understand your adversity except yourself. However, when I heard that this person had anxiety and depression, everyday he would get up and
think positive daily and let anyone stop him. Till this day he is now carefree, happy, and really successful with what he does. All in all, I truly believe
that wisdom comes after you have suffered or witnessed some problem in your life. This would created wisdom of

Squeaky: Looking After Her Brother
Squeaky is really responsible because she has to look after her brother which in the story she says, "All I have to do in life is look after my brother
Raymond, which is enough."(Bambara,23) You see her brother as she says in the story"he's not quite right" and needs someone to look after
him.She is also really protective of her brother which in the story she says, "But now, if anybody has anything to say to Raymond, anything to say
about his big head, they have to come by me."(Bambara,23) There are lot of smart mouths that say he is dumb for having such a big head and
Squeaky has to make sure that doesn't happen. She is also very fast as said in the story she says, "And as anybody can tell you, I'm the fastest thing on
two feet."(Bambara,23)

What Is A Relationship Essay
Relationships bring so much joy to people's lives. Whether it's a friendship, family relationships, or marriage/dating, it brings two people together.
Sometimes relationships get hard and go through some "rough patches" and lead to negative consequences. I personally can see in other relationships,
and in my own past and present these issues cause many to question their own. Some compare their relationships to ones they see in movies, on social
media, or celebrities they look up to. It's a dire need to be perfect, and want nothing but happiness and no fighting, and that's what many want and try to
succeed this based on what they see. The issue in relationships are common and can eventually lead to some heavy consequences. Being in a
relationship means a lot of different things to anyone I could ask. There is a lot of different traits that make up a relationship, and each person can
interpret it in their own way, which could lead to problems as well. Relationships are a huge part of life, and knowing how to "work" with them, and
make it work is important. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I can relate to this character when he talks about cleaning up before the girl he liked came over. When someone I care about or am dating comes
over, I always make sure my house and room are perfect. Meaning I have nothing laying around, everything is clean, and things are in order. I don't
really do it to impress the person themselves, but I do it to make a good first impression. As time goes on and I get to know the person, I still clean,
but not as much as I did in the beginning. I just think it's important to make a good first impression no matter who it is. I wouldn't want my new
boyfriend or new friends walking into my house and seeing dirty dishes, laundry laying around, smelly garbage, and I wouldn't really expect that going
into their houses for the first

What Does A Patient Mean To You
What does patients mean to you? The poem by Phillips Brooks is, "Be patient and understanding Life is too short to be vengeful or malicious." To
me that poem is what I live for. I have so many times where all i wanted to do was say something, but I couldn't because of my job. Being patient is
the key to life. Never do anything you will regret in the long run.
I have had jobs where I have had to wait on very rude customers. I worked at Cara, a salon. I remember this one time where i had wait on this one rude
lady. I was polite, like I always am. I first asked her if she wanted any water, she responded with "If you don't touch the glass, I would like some." I've
run into rude people about my race, but the fact that she told me only if I don't ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Well, I had heard that Blairs was hiring, I jumped on the train to get an application. I never got called in for an interview and I had a feeling that
my previous job had something to do with it. I went and got another job application, but this time I didn't put where I worked. They called me the
next day, I was honestly so shocked when I got the phone call. I went in for the interview and I had started working the next day. Till this day I still
have my job and I'm very happy with what I do. You always run into very rude customers, but you always have to stay patient. I remember the day
that I started, I was so nervous that I would mess up. A few months came along, and well, I ran into that difficult customer. This one man asked me
if I could get something for him and of course I said yes. He was asking me to get, I think a candle from the top shelf of aisle number four. Well the
front called me to go and bag, while I was heading up to the front, he yelled at me requesting that I stay and help. I didn't want to anger the man or one
of the cashiers, so I called one of the managers to help the man. As I was finishing up, he came up to me and was yelling at me in front of all these
customers, I was turning red. I was being as patient as I could and then a manager asked what was wrong. The man said that I just walked off and
didn't help him. I helped the man and then I bagged his groceries, I carried out for him and I even apologized for my actions, that I didn't

Humorous Wedding Speech
John Locke on the phone: Good morning, Karl. How are you? I hope all is well. Karl Marx on the phone: Hello John, all is well thank you for
asking. How is everything with you? John: There has actually been something on my mind that has been troubling me lately. Since you have asked,
the state of the government and the way the system is operating currently has been a concern to me and I have been thinking that you and I could
discuss this in a little bit more depth and detail. What do you say? Karl: Well John I would be more then delighted to talk with you about this. I
personally have some ideas about this and think that us having a talk would be an excellent idea. John: I am very happy that you said that. I had a

Along with taking the power from the owners, property needs to be more easily available to the people. Property is fundamental and if an
individual has the means to get land the deserve it. Also, the people the government look over deserve equality. Additionally, they deserve a
government that will provide citizens with certain rights they all deserve. Karl: That is a good point John. We both are well aware there is an
unbalance in the government and the power is not being distributed fairly. But, what exactly do you mean when you say that people deserve certain
rights, what rights do the citizens deserve to have? John: Im glad you asked. There are three rights that every citizen should be entitled to and they are
called natural rights. The natural rights are life, liberty and the right to own personal property. Like you said property is important. The government
should operate solely to provide citizens with the rights that they deserve. Karl: I do agree with you that all people should be given theses natural
rights. But, the biggest problem is that the government is out of control and needs to be tamed. How can we make them provide people with the rights

Steroids In Professional Sports
Did you know in some cases PEDs, or Performance Enhancing Drugs, have been used on people 12 years or younger? People in sports have always
wanted an edge and use PEDs, even at young ages. Because of this the world of sports need to enforce anti–doping rules more. One Reason the world
of sports need to enforce anti doping rules more is because the use of PEDs is a form of cheating. First of all, EPO's, a type of PED, is injected
into the bloodstream and increase the amount of red blood cells in the body, which gives people more endurance. In one test, blood doping increased
endurance by 44%, and steroids increased strength by 38%. A common story many people have heard is the Jonathan Vaughters story. Jonathan
Vaughters, a professional biker, prepared his whole life for the highest level biking and didn't make it. He chose to dope to keep up with the other
racers. In the early 2000's everyone got away with doping including Vaughters, which is more reason to enforce anti–doping rules more. In the end,
sport officials need to enforce the anti–doping rules more or players will take an unfair advantage.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
First of all, PED's harm the reproductive system. This consists of shrunken testicles and less sperm. Also they can give you liver tumors, abnormal
enlargement of heart muscles, and heart disease. Plus a few more reasons not to do them is men could have increased breast growth and aggressive
mood swings. Teens can have stunted growth, acne, stretch marks, and hair loss on the head. Woman can get a deeper voice and facial hair. Not only
does it harm your body, but it has consequences too. For example, Lance Armstrong, a famous biker from the USA, admitted to blood doping and
officials took away his medals. Overall, this shows that PED's are harmful and have consequences which is why people need to enforce the anti–doping

MaпїЅana Mean Heaven Analysis
I have often found myself singing the song from Meatloaf "I would do anything for love." However, I question myself would I really do anything
for love? In the novel, MaГ±ana Mean Heaven by Tim Z. Hernandez, Bea finds herself learning to trust and love again after she leaves her abusive
husband Beto. On the way to Los Angeles Bea meets Jack and after a few amazing nights, Jack realizes he would like Bea to join him in New York
with him and she agrees. This begins her journey and dream to be in New York with Jack and her children. Bea actions on her willingness in
making it to New York shows how she is willing to risk everything. Some people have their mind made up on leaving a city forever and for
whatever reasons only having to return after a short time. Just like Bea, she set out to run away from Beto but did not plan on meeting Jack. Once
Bea agrees to head East with Jack, Jack realizes and explains to Bea that having money to get there would be the easiest way to travel. Like
anyone else, money is needed to be provided to go across the country. They both begin to seek for jobs only to fail. As Hernandez quotes Jack
telling Bea "...Suppose we head back over those mountains and into that valley of yours. Say we head back to Selma, alright, work a little there, just
enough for some food money and two tickets East, that's it. Suppose we do that first, then hit the road" (86). In other words, Jack suggested they both

A Short Story : A Story?
"Oh no, oh no..." she said as she started to harden. A chill went down her spine, as she now stood there, naked, in physical pain, covered in muscle
balm, and completely erect. "Now's not a good time," she whispered to her own body. "Getting a little hot over there, Kara?" Diana asked. Kara
winced, her tear ducts tingling as she resisted her eyes watering. She started to hop up and down, her breasts and genitals bouncing and bobbing up
and down with her. It was enough to make Diana start laughing again, as Kara yelled, "This isn't funny anymore!" "On the contrary," said Diana, "I
find it absolutely hilarious." "Well I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, you fucking," suddenly she jumped up onto the bench, and then off again, "piece

You! Oh my god! Fucking–A! Fuck! I gotta go wash!" Kara screamed. If anyone had heard any of this, they would have been very concerned.
Luckily the locker room, was sound proof. Kara ran into the other room, and Diana slowly followed her, calling after, "It's oil based, so I don't know

Summary Of ' Children Of The Sea '
1) Haiti's political climate in the time of the first story, "Children of the Sea", were corrupt regimes. Considering Haitian family members are being
forced to bear each other 's children, or become an object on the street to showcase the dehumanization methods used by the macoutes. The population
is forced into a false hope of the return of the country's president, only to be shot or arrested on sight. Protest and free speech is not allowed against a
political opposition, which is only sought to rule for one 's own gain. Even when you are not in Haiti, and may be in another country such as the
Dominican Republic, Haitians still face oppression in the story "Nineteen–Thirty–Seven" at the site of a massacre. It forces people like Danticat ...

Today, media is a very huge influence on people, if I find something on the news, social media, or anything else, I always try to find what everyone
else is saying about it. It is a habit for me personally because I really have the need to know what people think, and then try to translate my own
thoughts into it. 2) Nineteen Thirty–Seven is a story where the Dominican Republic was "cleansed" of Haitian people that could not roll their tongues
speaking the language. Women are portrayed in this story as courageous witches, as seen from Josephine 's point of view that her mother, Defile,
has fled from Dominican Republic to Haiti, in a miraculous escape while pregnant with Josephine. Defile is arrested for this because her escape
serves no explanation to the people other than crossing a river with a baby. People in the story fear her because they believe she should not be that
strong to do such a thing. This fear benefits people in power because it can be used against opposition, like propaganda, rallying people to defend
themselves against people that have no means to harm them. Fear also benefits people in power in a way so any opposition keeps the mouth shut,
and make them afraid to move. Fear allows them to be submissive to the government. It is almost supernatural to believe the guards in their own
comfort could splash cold water on inmates to prevent fiery wings. As if it actually worked for

Helen Keller Quotes
There is one quote that speaks to me the most, "I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if
they are great and noble" By Helen Keller. This quote in a way represents how I deal with many situations. I believe that the more enthusiasm and
care you give your small tasks, will result in a better outcome. Another way I can relate to this quote would be at the work place. To be able to
successfully accomplish some tasks you must be willing to commit your self and treat it as any other task. I work in a kitchen and I see this everyday
where individuals will leave small tasks aside, or not care as much for them compared to the big important tasks. This only decreases the chances of

Michelangelo High Goals
The famous artist Michelangelo once said, "The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our
aim too low, and achieving our mark." With this statement, I believe Michelangelo was expressing his concerns for individuals who underestimate
themselves by setting low goals. There are many more advantages of being ambitious and establishing higher marks. By doing so, the person's overall
efficiency could increase in all aspects of their life. An unexpected assurance could be developed by the improved belief in themself. On the contrary,
having low standards of oneself is detrimental to their well–being. I agree with Michelangelo's statement because aiming high will help improve an
individual's performance, cause them to gain confidence, and prevent laziness and a lack of effort in the future. Certainly, the decision to aim high will
be beneficial to one's overall performance. Have you ever set a goal that no one else believed in? There were times when faith was lost, but despite the
odds, you marched on. When you finally accomplished what was believed to be impossible, you felt better than ever. This newfound pride and
determination will leak into other aspects of your life and benefit in ways never thought possible. By choosing to set greater expectations, the individual
will push themselves to do their best. Greater targets mean there will be more challenges. An increased focus and determination will result from

Personal Narrative: P. E.
Have you ever just wanted to accomplish something, but you were just too lazy? Well, that was my case. It all just started in the beginning of 7th
grade. It was fun and all, but then, P.E. started, I wasn't used to the running and social activities at all. It was very difficult at the beginning of 7th
grade but it got easier after a few weeks passed. But then, my P.E. teacher, Mrs. Gavello, warned her class that the mile was going to be in a few
weeks. When I heard the news, I literally went on the ground and cradled myself saying "I'm not going to do good, I'm not going to do good, I'll fail."
I decided to change that doubt in myself by changing the thought that "I can't do it" into "I will do it." It sounds cringey, but I wanted to feel better
about myself. Also, I started to train myself for the mile. I started going to the gym and running 2 miles every morning and night. I was so exhausted, I
felt the sweat rolling down my face which brought joy into me for some reason. It was just the feeling of completing something really difficult, it was
just the feeling of victory.

Personal Narrative: Working At The Illinois State Fair
Last summer I worked in the Credentials Office at the Illinois State Fair. Part of my job was to balance the accounts at the end of the day for all of
the credentials, tickets, and lanyards sold. For a full month of my job we matched to the penny the balanced on what we sold compared to what people
bought.
A girl named Jessica was hired one week. After the second day she was hired we started getting a couple dollars off balance. I double and tripled the
cash to make sure it was not my mistake. Sure enough it was still a few dollars short. As soon as I noticed I brought the attention to my boss. She
didn't seem too worried about it because the amount was so small so we moved on. As the following week arrived, the amount of money kept
increasing. Each day I still communicated the money that was off balance. Finally, my boss noticed it was becoming an issue and seemed off that

Raymond's Run By Anna Squeaky Quotes
Determined Squeaky
In Raymond's Run by Toni Cade Bombara, Squeaky is very determined. She is determined because she stands up for her brother Raymond. She also
wants to win the 50 yard dash against the other girls. Then she wants to coach her brother Raymond. And above all she wants to be the best at
everything. These are all connected to being determined because she wants to do all this and she is dedicated into that.
The first reason why Squeaky is determined is because she stands up for her brother Raymond. In the story it says "That's right fatso. And the next
word out of anybody, I'll be their mother too." This shows that Squeaky loves her brother and she would stand up to anybody to help him. I wonder if
she loves him more than her running. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I think running is important to her because when the girls tried to embarrass Squeaky and discourage her, on of the girls named Rosie said this: "I
don't think you're going to win this time." Though the responding of Squeaky comes out with pride and dignity. She responds this way " I always
win cause I'm the best." This shows that Squeaky wants to win and she won't let anyone in her way. Though, Squeaky can't just say she'll win and
she'll win. In the story she says that many people call her the swiftest thing in the neighborhood, which shows that people think she's really fast. Also,
in the story it says, " You can see me training on running at any time of day." This also shows that she trains hard to get what she wants. The thought I
have about this is she has the right to say that to the girls who were mean to

feel my wrath," he threatens with his brown eyes switching to maroon.
The Kingsman lunges forward, swinging his double–sided axe through the air, aiming for the man's head. The man instantaneously sandwiches one of
its blades in–between his thick hands. He then forcefully yanks the axe from the Kingsman's clutches, tossing the deadly weapon to the side, and
begins pulverizing the Kingsman to the floor with his stone, hard fists. He subdues the Kingsman. The melee was quickly over before it started. He
rises to a stand and stomp on the Kingsman's

Argument Essay
Adversity has a way of bringing up challenges unexpectedly, most people shrink away from it and get consumed, but when they push through it people
come out stronger than they were before.
Throughout history there has always been adversity, even today there are people who struggle to cope with it in their everyday lives, but some are
able to overcome it as individuals and move on. But sometimes there are situations so adverse it takes more than one person to overcome mentally and
/or physically.
One of the greatest examples of more than one person coming together and over coming adversity would be the Romans. They started out as a small

When in the doctor's office it can be a really tense situation for the patient. But that is why doctors describe the many benefits of getting a shot, to
administer medicine or a vaccine to keep people from getting sick and prevent infections or diseases. After the patients know that a shot isn't that
bad, they are more mentally prepared for the next time and will not be afraid. Driving also can be adverse because it puts a person in control of an
object that has an incredible amount of force, and has varied velocity and if they should crash, it could mean serious injury or worse to both the driver
and/or other people. So it's up to the driver to stay focused and pay attention which can be very stressful and kind of scary. But a driver must push
through their fears of driving in order to stay focused; after these fears are pushed aside they are much stronger mentally than they were before
Adversity is something that many people are able to over come, most people can by themselves, others it requires a lot of help and if they work
together and set aside petty fears it will be overcome. When they come out to the other side they will be stronger that before both mentally and/or

Descriptive Vacation
The darkness of night fades into light over Guam's touristy strip, basking Tumon Bay in the early morning glow of the powerful tropical sun.
High above the waves and beach in our hotel room, the breeze coming in through our lanai is the first hint of daybreak. Through the rustling
curtains, the breeze allows the sun, but not the beachgoers, to peek into our room. You remain sound asleep, but have made clear your wish and
my goal. You are so sexy just sleeping there. My mind plays back the last 24 hours. The ecstasy when we made love the morning before. The day
we spent snorkeling the bay. The colorful tropical fish we saw. The dinner we enjoyed. The sunset walk on the beach. The aching muscles when
we got back to our room. The massages we traded. The bath we shared together. The pillow talk. Then sleep. But 24 hours is enough time for us to
abstain. This vacation has been so relaxing, and this vacation's lovemaking has been truly phenomenal. Quietly, I put some lube on my fingers. And
then my other fingers. Carefully, I start to work my member back to full strength, using firm but gentle strokes so as not to wake you up. My other
hand warms the lube soon to be used on your beautiful body. You've always been so cute at communicating little things, like your dislike of cold
lube. My flesh grows solid, a vein or two visible, with the little crook to the left and the bump or two on the left side. You don't mind these, and they
have no effect on our lovemaking, but they

Kincaid, Emily Witt, And Ovid Use Love?
The four letter word LOVE is an very strong and powerful word you don't use unless you mean it. Love can be used in plenty of ways because love
is unconditional. Love can cause good or bad feeling. Love comes from a person's heart and can make that person do things they never did before.
Love can also cause people to hurt themselves self if they feel like the person they thought love they don't. Some people see love as a to start a family
or relationship. Love can make you happy, sad, mad, hurt, depress,or even emotional. Love can be found on online dating website, such
as:blackpeoplemeet.com,match,eharmony,etc...
In this essay I'm going to talk about how three different people whose names are Jamaica Kincaid,Emily Witt's,and Ovid use love.In the poem "Girl"
written by Jamaica Kincaid she shows her daughter love by the instructions she's giving her on how to keep the house and yard clean and on how to
present herself as a young lady and not a slut. The story "Love Me Tinder" written by Emily Witt's is a story about how two strangers Eli and
Katherine meet on an online dating website called Tinder. In Ovid satire he sees love as rape.
Jamaica Kincaid express her love through her daughter by the instructions she gives her on how to keep a clean house and how to present herself as
young women and not a slut they want her to be. I don't feel like she is implying to her daughter as a slut but is just warning her that if she doesn't

Descriptive Essay About Fear
The wind howled as we drove vigilantly through the mountains. The winding, treacherous roads rattled our van with every turn. The sun vanished
behind the arms of the trees as we ventured deeper into the mountains. Miles of vegetation swarmed on the like we were entering a jungle. The
mountain peaks impaled the sky like a sword. Darkness crept and latched on to our van with every twist and turn. Fog whisked it's way like a tidal wave
through the trees. As we approached our destination, the twists and turns only become more abundant. After each turn anxiety grips us with anguish
because one incorrect turn would either throw you into the side of a mountain, or hurdle you into an infinite abyss below. Poverty spread like a disease
as we passed houses, each one worse than the previous. Boarded up homes appeared every half mile. People stared as we drove by, as if they were
giving us a warning: leave. A stream to the side of the road seemed to be our companion as it followed us every step of the way. The temperature
dropped the farther we descended into the mountain. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we finally reached our destination in the middle of
nowhere: the mission.
As my youth group and I unpacked our bags from the truck, we all gawked at the scenery of the environment. Trees surround you and would not let
you go, secluding us from civilization. Rocks huddled together on the banks of the creek. The mission and the dorms sat atop rolling hills and one
misstep could send you tumbling into the creek. The creek itself appeared like gravy with a thick consistency. Legend had it, Danial Boone
skinned a bear in the creek, and the intestines tormented the water, turning it to a murky brown (people didn't want to admit it, but because of the
trash they had heaved in the creek is what altered it's consistency). The leader of the mission introduced himself to the youth group and I and
invited us all inside the mission to have a meeting. He discussed the projects we would be tending to while in Big Laurel, Kentucky and what
groups we would be in. He gave us a tour of the dorms as well as other features of the mission, and also included a few rules. Rule #1: never leave the
dorm

College Admissions Essay: My High School Career
A sharp murmur echoed in my ears as my pencil scribbled across my paper. I was working rapidly on my essay, attempting to perfect my edits. My
pencil kept running along, and the murmur finally grew to a voice, stunting me from my progress. I finally looked up, into the face of a classmate,
looking annoyed, asking, "What do we edit?". I responded with the exact directions our teacher had given us, and went back to my writing. By the
end of class, I was the only student finished with my essay, and had time left to do as I pleased. As I was getting out my headphones to watch a video
or two on my phone, I heard my friend's familiar voice, "Yeah, Bailee looks done of course. She loveswork. It's all she ever does." I was momentarily

"Alright, I'll be ready. Thanks for the advice." The meeting was brought to an end, and I headed straight for my room. Lots of planning and

Examples Of Overcoming Shyness

Overcoming shyness
People all over the world have accomplished things that made them who they are today. Overcoming shyness was a huge accomplishment and
something that was very significant to me that marked my transition from childhood to adulthood. As a young child I was a non social person, and
did not like to participate in anything. I liked to be an individual person, and do things on my own. I was shy and not outgoing like all my other
friends were. When I enter a situation for the first time, I have a hard time speaking up until I feel comfortable. As being as shy as I was, my
school work was affected a lot because I would not raise my hand to ask questions if I did not understand something, or go to the teacher for help. It
was hard to transition from that stage to being more outgoing and talk more with my peers. It was difficult to communicate with others because of
this as well, i was not able to be the person that i really am. Many of us faced challenges in our years and struggled with them. Some of those
struggles might have changed who we are , which definitely changed me. A lot of people think that shy people are just quiet, and do not like to make
friends. It's not the truth for me. As some of my friends know, I love to talk and share to others. I am a really outgoing fun girl, once I'm out of my
shell. My shyness does not mean I'm an un–ordinary person, I'm just like everyone else. I

Boundaries Vs Having Boundaries Essay
Having Boundaries vs. Having no boundaries Have You ever gotten sick of boundaries. If you have then just think about it a littler harder because
sometimes it's harder not having boundaries. Imagine being able to do whatever you want it may seem awesome but it's really not. Having
boundaries is like having things you're told you can't do. Not having boundaries is like being able to do whatever you want whenever you want. I read
two books The Outsiders and One Flick Of A Finger. It's a lot better to have boundaries than to not have them. First of all kids might do very
dangerous things without boundaries, Kids also feel that their parents don't care, and Some people say that it's a lot easier to have no boundaries but
that's not true. To start off, Kids may do dangerous things without boundaries. If they feel they can do whatever they want then they won't care what

Seeing your parents apart and not getting along when they're together is hard for most kids specially when you're 8 years old and you don't know
what's coming next. The day my parents got divorced changed my perception of what a normal family was.
Having my dad around all the time wasn't my everyday routine. I'd see him once or twice a week so I wasn't very much used to see him every day.

According to the doctor the pollution had affected his eyes. He had always lived on the beach and his body never got used to the city.
I knew my life was going to change completely, I wouldn't see him every day. Who would I cry out for help when my mom gets angry?
Everything was about to change, we wouldn't order take–out on Sundays, it was a big deal, I was losing my best friend, the only father figure I have
ever had so far. I watched him taking all of his stuff out of the apartment, I was getting more and more mad. Wasn't our beautiful relationship enough
to make him stay? I even blame myself I thought I had done something wrong, maybe wearing his clothes and leaving them all messy, I apologize and
swear not to do it again, but it didn't matter the decision was already made.
I stared at him and yelled "if you don't love me anymore go ahead leave, I don't need you" there were tears on our faces, I jumped into my bed and
cried myself to sleep.
I realized there was nothing else to be done, he was not my father and I was sure I'd see him someday, he wouldn't stop loving me, and we would
always have the memories of the brief time we shared our lives. He made the best out of my childhood.

Anele's Aliens: A Narrative Fiction
Waking up in a dark cell, where it is nothing, but cold and wet. Anele was her name, and she wasn't cut out for this. Her parents feared for her safety
and couldn't bare seeing her go. "She's just a infant, can't you see? No harm will never cross this family's souls!" her parents exclaimed. Anele
remembers everything that went on that night. The government just couldn't leave an innocent child with it's family for the first days of it's birth. A
bright light lit up the cell and out came two officers. The gate opened and stinging overcame her. As she blacked out, the two officers carried her down
the hall and out of the door. Memories ran through her head as she thought of her Mother and Father. She couldn't remember much but she missed them

Jack and Anele were together now and they loved each other dearly. [Knowing that she had to return to her family again, she didn't want to. She
decided to stay with Jack and the city to continue being with what she loved and doing what she loved. Anele and Jack gathered the city around
and announced there would be hope for those in danger and she will do anything for the city and the people.] The government was listening in on
a radio that broadcasts across the city. Anele heard the static echoing off the buildings. Looking around confused, she yells, "Whoever you are,
come out now!" Everyone runs away in fear and heads back inside. "This is the government, we are here to announce that you have less than 24
hours to turn yourself in, or your family will feel our wrath!" Anele gets furious, and runs to the prison. She barges through the gate and slams into
the cell rooms. Officers surrounded her and there was nothing she could do. "Leave them alone." she proclaims. They loaded their guns and started
pushing her against the wall. Her anger filled her body, and she began to close her eyes. As her fists balled up, Crystals exploded from her eyes,
piercing everyone in the room. Body's dropped left and right. Anele ran over to her parents when she heard a helicopter hovering from above the
prison. The helicopter shoots and blows the roof off, leaving them standing there with no cover. Officers

Acknowledging Suffering Analysis

  • 1. Acknowledging Suffering Analysis In life, I personally think that it is undoubtedly hard for people to admit their mistakes, even myself. Sometimes, you personally know that you're wrong, but you don't want to admit due to guilt or wrongdoing. It is just human nature to always think that you are correct and you can't seem to accept the other person's opinion or fact, even though they are right. Depending on what the situation is, most people decide in their heads, to decide whether the issue or relationship between the person is more important. Whether you want to teach the other person between wrong and right or setting this aside the preserve the friendship. In addition to this, we all have developed our own identity and how we personally view ourselves. Acknowledging... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Throughout the world you see people suffering everywhere on the streets, at home, at work, etc. Today in society we see and know so many people that are wise and successful. However, with the wise and success, came some adversity. They all started somewhere and rose to the top gradually. In my opinion, wisdom has to come with some kind of suffering because if you don't experience anything, it is hard to learn from your experiences and become wise from them. Though you can learn from other people's mistake and feed off from that. However, you never know how something feels until you actually experience it. Something I have learned from someone else, was when someone that had anxiety and depression. You don't know how hard it is to deal with them, until you actually have it. Though, I don't have anxiety and depression, I can't say much about it, but I always hear people say just look on the bright side. Though it is not easy as it sounds. Moreover, I personally think no one can truly understand your adversity except yourself. However, when I heard that this person had anxiety and depression, everyday he would get up and think positive daily and let anyone stop him. Till this day he is now carefree, happy, and really successful with what he does. All in all, I truly believe that wisdom comes after you have suffered or witnessed some problem in your life. This would created wisdom of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Squeaky: Looking After Her Brother Squeaky is really responsible because she has to look after her brother which in the story she says, "All I have to do in life is look after my brother Raymond, which is enough."(Bambara,23) You see her brother as she says in the story"he's not quite right" and needs someone to look after him.She is also really protective of her brother which in the story she says, "But now, if anybody has anything to say to Raymond, anything to say about his big head, they have to come by me."(Bambara,23) There are lot of smart mouths that say he is dumb for having such a big head and Squeaky has to make sure that doesn't happen. • 3. What Is A Relationship Essay Relationships bring so much joy to people's lives. Whether it's a friendship, family relationships, or marriage/dating, it brings two people together. Sometimes relationships get hard and go through some "rough patches" and lead to negative consequences. I personally can see in other relationships, and in my own past and present these issues cause many to question their own. Some compare their relationships to ones they see in movies, on social media, or celebrities they look up to. It's a dire need to be perfect, and want nothing but happiness and no fighting, and that's what many want and try to succeed this based on what they see. The issue in relationships are common and can eventually lead to some heavy consequences. Being in a relationship means a lot of different things to anyone I could ask. There is a lot of different traits that make up a relationship, and each person can interpret it in their own way, which could lead to problems as well. Relationships are a huge part of life, and knowing how to "work" with them, and make it work is important. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I can relate to this character when he talks about cleaning up before the girl he liked came over. When someone I care about or am dating comes over, I always make sure my house and room are perfect. Meaning I have nothing laying around, everything is clean, and things are in order. I don't really do it to impress the person themselves, but I do it to make a good first impression. As time goes on and I get to know the person, I still clean, but not as much as I did in the beginning. I just think it's important to make a good first impression no matter who it is. • 4. What Does A Patient Mean To You What does patients mean to you? The poem by Phillips Brooks is, "Be patient and understanding Life is too short to be vengeful or malicious." To me that poem is what I live for. I have so many times where all i wanted to do was say something, but I couldn't because of my job. Being patient is the key to life. Never do anything you will regret in the long run. I have had jobs where I have had to wait on very rude customers. I worked at Cara, a salon. I remember this one time where i had wait on this one rude lady. I was polite, like I always am. I first asked her if she wanted any water, she responded with "If you don't touch the glass, I would like some." Well, I had heard that Blairs was hiring, I jumped on the train to get an application. I never got called in for an interview and I had a feeling that my previous job had something to do with it. I went and got another job application, but this time I didn't put where I worked. They called me the next day, I was honestly so shocked when I got the phone call. I went in for the interview and I had started working the next day. Till this day I still have my job and I'm very happy with what I do. You always run into very rude customers, but you always have to stay patient. I remember the day that I started, I was so nervous that I would mess up. A few months came along, and well, I ran into that difficult customer. This one man asked me if I could get something for him and of course I said yes. He was asking me to get, I think a candle from the top shelf of aisle number four. Well the front called me to go and bag, while I was heading up to the front, he yelled at me requesting that I stay and help. I didn't want to anger the man or one of the cashiers, so I called one of the managers to help the man. As I was finishing up, he came up to me and was yelling at me in front of all these customers, I was turning red. I was being as patient as I could and then a manager asked what was wrong. The man said that I just walked off and didn't help him. I helped the man and then I bagged his groceries, I carried out for him and I even apologized for my actions, that I didn't ... Since you have asked, the state of the government and the way the system is operating currently has been a concern to me and I have been thinking that you and I could discuss this in a little bit more depth and detail. What do you say? Karl: Well John I would be more then delighted to talk with you about this. I personally have some ideas about this and think that us having a talk would be an excellent idea. Along with taking the power from the owners, property needs to be more easily available to the people. Property is fundamental and if an individual has the means to get land the deserve it. We both are well aware there is an unbalance in the government and the power is not being distributed fairly. But, what exactly do you mean when you say that people deserve certain rights, what rights do the citizens deserve to have? John: Im glad you asked. There are three rights that every citizen should be entitled to and they are called natural rights. The natural rights are life, liberty and the right to own personal property. Like you said property is important. The government should operate solely to provide citizens with the rights that they deserve. • 7. Steroids In Professional Sports Did you know in some cases PEDs, or Performance Enhancing Drugs, have been used on people 12 years or younger? People in sports have always wanted an edge and use PEDs, even at young ages. Because of this the world of sports need to enforce anti–doping rules more. One Reason the world of sports need to enforce anti doping rules more is because the use of PEDs is a form of cheating. First of all, EPO's, a type of PED, is injected into the bloodstream and increase the amount of red blood cells in the body, which gives people more endurance. In one test, blood doping increased endurance by 44%, and steroids increased strength by 38%. A common story many people have heard is the Jonathan Vaughters story. Jonathan Vaughters, a professional biker, prepared his whole life for the highest level biking and didn't make it. He chose to dope to keep up with the other racers. In the early 2000's everyone got away with doping including Vaughters, which is more reason to enforce anti–doping rules more. In the end, sport officials need to enforce the anti–doping rules more or players will take an unfair advantage.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Plus a few more reasons not to do them is men could have increased breast growth and aggressive mood swings. Teens can have stunted growth, acne, stretch marks, and hair loss on the head. Woman can get a deeper voice and facial hair. Not only does it harm your body, but it has consequences too. For example, Lance Armstrong, a famous biker from the USA, admitted to blood doping and officials took away his medals. As Hernandez quotes Jack telling Bea "...Suppose we head back over those mountains and into that valley of yours. Say we head back to Selma, alright, work a little there, just enough for some food money and two tickets East, that's it. Suppose we do that first, then hit the road" (86). A chill went down her spine, as she now stood there, naked, in physical pain, covered in muscle balm, and completely erect. "Now's not a good time," she whispered to her own body. "Getting a little hot over there, Kara?" Diana asked. Kara winced, her tear ducts tingling as she resisted her eyes watering. She started to hop up and down, her breasts and genitals bouncing and bobbing up and down with her. It was enough to make Diana start laughing again, as Kara yelled, "This isn't funny anymore!" "On the contrary," said Diana, "I find it absolutely hilarious." "Well I'm glad you're enjoying yourself, you fucking," suddenly she jumped up onto the bench, and then off again, "piece of motherв”Ђ Something, you!" The population is forced into a false hope of the return of the country's president, only to be shot or arrested on sight. Protest and free speech is not allowed against a political opposition, which is only sought to rule for one 's own gain. Today, media is a very huge influence on people, if I find something on the news, social media, or anything else, I always try to find what everyone else is saying about it. It is a habit for me personally because I really have the need to know what people think, and then try to translate my own thoughts into it. 2) Nineteen Thirty–Seven is a story where the Dominican Republic was "cleansed" of Haitian people that could not roll their tongues speaking the language. Women are portrayed in this story as courageous witches, as seen from Josephine 's point of view that her mother, Defile, has fled from Dominican Republic to Haiti, in a miraculous escape while pregnant with Josephine. Defile is arrested for this because her escape serves no explanation to the people other than crossing a river with a baby. People in the story fear her because they believe she should not be that strong to do such a thing. This fear benefits people in power because it can be used against opposition, like propaganda, rallying people to defend themselves against people that have no means to harm them. Fear also benefits people in power in a way so any opposition keeps the mouth shut, and make them afraid to move. Fear allows them to be submissive to the government. Helen Keller Quotes There is one quote that speaks to me the most, "I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they are great and noble" By Helen Keller. This quote in a way represents how I deal with many situations. I believe that the more enthusiasm and care you give your small tasks, will result in a better outcome. Another way I can relate to this quote would be at the work place. To be able to successfully accomplish some tasks you must be willing to commit your self and treat it as any other task. • 13. Michelangelo High Goals The famous artist Michelangelo once said, "The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark." With this statement, I believe Michelangelo was expressing his concerns for individuals who underestimate themselves by setting low goals. There are many more advantages of being ambitious and establishing higher marks. By doing so, the person's overall efficiency could increase in all aspects of their life. An unexpected assurance could be developed by the improved belief in themself. On the contrary, having low standards of oneself is detrimental to their well–being. I agree with Michelangelo's statement because aiming high will help improve an individual's performance, cause them to gain confidence, and prevent laziness and a lack of effort in the future. Certainly, the decision to aim high will be beneficial to one's overall performance. Have you ever set a goal that no one else believed in? There were times when faith was lost, but despite the odds, you marched on. When you finally accomplished what was believed to be impossible, you felt better than ever. This newfound pride and determination will leak into other aspects of your life and benefit in ways never thought possible. By choosing to set greater expectations, the individual will push themselves to do their best. Greater targets mean there will be more challenges. It was fun and all, but then, P.E. started, I wasn't used to the running and social activities at all. It was very difficult at the beginning of 7th grade but it got easier after a few weeks passed. But then, my P.E. teacher, Mrs. Gavello, warned her class that the mile was going to be in a few weeks. When I heard the news, I literally went on the ground and cradled myself saying "I'm not going to do good, I'm not going to do good, I'll fail." I decided to change that doubt in myself by changing the thought that "I can't do it" into "I will do it." It sounds cringey, but I wanted to feel better about myself. Also, I started to train myself for the mile. I started going to the gym and running 2 miles every morning and night. These are all connected to being determined because she wants to do all this and she is dedicated into that. • 26. Descriptive Essay About Fear The wind howled as we drove vigilantly through the mountains. The winding, treacherous roads rattled our van with every turn. The sun vanished behind the arms of the trees as we ventured deeper into the mountains. Miles of vegetation swarmed on the like we were entering a jungle. The mountain peaks impaled the sky like a sword. Darkness crept and latched on to our van with every twist and turn. Fog whisked it's way like a tidal wave through the trees. As we approached our destination, the twists and turns only become more abundant. After each turn anxiety grips us with anguish because one incorrect turn would either throw you into the side of a mountain, or hurdle you into an infinite abyss below. Poverty spread like a disease as we passed houses, each one worse than the previous. Boarded up homes appeared every half mile. People stared as we drove by, as if they were giving us a warning: leave. A stream to the side of the road seemed to be our companion as it followed us every step of the way. The temperature dropped the farther we descended into the mountain. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we finally reached our destination in the middle of nowhere: the mission. As my youth group and I unpacked our bags from the truck, we all gawked at the scenery of the environment. Trees surround you and would not let you go, secluding us from civilization. Rocks huddled together on the banks of the creek. The mission and the dorms sat atop rolling hills and one misstep could send you tumbling into the creek. The creek itself appeared like gravy with a thick consistency. Legend had it, Danial Boone skinned a bear in the creek, and the intestines tormented the water, turning it to a murky brown (people didn't want to admit it, but because of the trash they had heaved in the creek is what altered it's consistency). The leader of the mission introduced himself to the youth group and I and invited us all inside the mission to have a meeting. He discussed the projects we would be tending to while in Big Laurel, Kentucky and what groups we would be in. • 30. Examples Of Overcoming Shyness Jaylyn paredes Com 121–1121 Overcoming shyness People all over the world have accomplished things that made them who they are today. Overcoming shyness was a huge accomplishment and something that was very significant to me that marked my transition from childhood to adulthood. As a young child I was a non social person, and did not like to participate in anything. I liked to be an individual person, and do things on my own. I was shy and not outgoing like all my other friends were. When I enter a situation for the first time, I have a hard time speaking up until I feel comfortable. As being as shy as I was, my school work was affected a lot because I would not raise my hand to ask questions if I did not understand something, or go to the teacher for help. It was hard to transition from that stage to being more outgoing and talk more with my peers. It was difficult to communicate with others because of this as well, i was not able to be the person that i really am. Many of us faced challenges in our years and struggled with them. Some of those struggles might have changed who we are , which definitely changed me. A lot of people think that shy people are just quiet, and do not like to make friends. It's not the truth for me. As some of my friends know, I love to talk and share to others. I am a really outgoing fun girl, once I'm out of my shell. The workout, appropriately titled "Wet and Sandy" was set to begin. "Okay, now that everybody is here run into the Chesapeake Bay and cover yourself with as much sand as possible. Then come back to hospital point, you have 30 seconds. Go". The entire squad bolted for the sea and began to cover themselves with sand. If you have then just think about it a littler harder because sometimes it's harder not having boundaries. Imagine being able to do whatever you want it may seem awesome but it's really not. Having boundaries is like having things you're told you can't do. Not having boundaries is like being able to do whatever you want whenever you want. I read two books The Outsiders and One Flick Of A Finger. It's a lot better to have boundaries than to not have them. First of all kids might do very dangerous things without boundaries, Kids also feel that their parents don't care, and Some people say that it's a lot easier to have no boundaries but that's not true. Being a soccer player, this touched me deeply because there is a lot of pain in being a soccer player, but scoring that goal for your team is my "lifetime of glory" that I strive for. Another stunning example is when Louis said, "I just thought I was empty and now i'm being filled.. And I just wanted to keep being filled". When I started soccer I had the same feeling that Louis did when he said this.
