Level Information:
Visual theme: The Train Yard is a maze of train cars during a summer afternoon as it is about
to start a thunderstorm. Set on the outskirts of an abandoned and ruined city. The train yard is
joined with a warehouse and both are covered with trash, rusted cars, and graffiti.
Scrapping Goal: A Bast representative has commissioned our player to go into the train yard
and bring back a shipment of unopened goods. They are conspicuously sparse with details but
the money is good and so is the reputation of the party he represents. Its missions like these
that may earn a scrapper a place in a Bast, you happily but warily agree.
Backstory: The train yard is left in ruins, hulks of old box cars left to rust. Most early Scrappers
made off with or tore apart the engine cars long ago, leaving nothing but a maze of normally
immovable train cars. Apparently there are still shipments unclaimed hidden in the maze. Our
player sets out to find one such shipment of unknown nature, all they know is to look for a single
briefcase.

Primary Mechanic: Environmental Hazards
Player Goal: The player is starting their journey in the beginning of the level and has to find the
way to access the tunnel located in the area.
Area Primary Mechanic Details: In this area, the player has to explore and move around in the
the area to find a keycard that can gain access to the tunnel entrance in order to move on to the
next area. There will be falling debris that can hurt the player and the player has to watch out for
it.
Featured Asset: The featured asset in my area will be a computer monitor used to trigger the
tunnel entrance when activated after they acquire the keycard. This asset is the only way for the
player to go into the next level.
Area Flow: The player will move around the area to come across a building that has a monitor
inside for player to activate the tunnel in order to move on to the next level.
Setup Details:
Major, higher scope Setups
1. The player searches buildings to get the keycard to gain access and open the tunnel.
2. The player finds a monitor in the first building that needs a keycard to gain access and
open the tunnel.
3. The player will activate the fuse box to power up the platform to get to the keycard.
4. The player will locate and pick up key in second building and find their way back
to the first building to activate the monitor.
5. The player will unlock the tunnel entrance way and exit area
Minor, low scope Setups
6. Player can explore their surroundings by roaming around, but one tunnel is the only way
to escape.
7. Player can walk or run to get to buildings.
8. Debris is scattered around the area
9. Trees are in the level that can’t be walked through.
10. Debris can be avoided by the player.
11. Switch can be a different color when activated.
12. The player must look around the area to locate the building where the monitor is located.
13. Buildings will be scattered across the level for the player to explore with doors that can
be opened by the player.
14. Debris is falling in the area that the player needs to avoid.

Wish List:
1. The ability of a switch allowing the entrance to open for the player to proceed to the next
area.

Primary Mechanic: Exploration
Player Goal: Player must explore the train cars in order to find some Wire, a Pipe, and Black
Powder to create a Pipe Bomb which will take out a wall blocking the way to the next area.
Area Primary Mechanic Details: The player is to go around through several train cars that are
scattered about a field and find items (like crates to climb) in order to make it to the next area.
Featured Asset: Player made Pipe bomb, the player has to collect 3 pieces of the bomb in
order to progress. Player must collect Wire, Pipe, and Black Powder.
Area Flow: The player will roam around train cars using crates to get into the cars and collect
parts to enter next area.
Setup Details:
Major, higher scope Setups
16. The player searches through several train cars in order to find 3 parts.
17. The player uses the 3 parts they find to make a pipe bomb.
18. The player uses the pipe bomb to blow out a wall of a wrecked train car.
Minor, low scope Setups
19. The player uses the gravnull to move a crate.
20. The player uses the moved crate to climb up into a train car.
21. The player searchers through the train car to find a part.
22. The player knocks down a busted looking wall of the car to proceed.
23. The player uses their gravnull to again move a crate to climb into a train car.
24. The player uses the flashlight to search through several cars to find a part.
11. 25. The player once again knocks down a busted wall in order to proceed.
26. The player uses the gravnull again to move a crate and climb a train car.
27. The player comes across a car with a ladder to the roof of the car and climbs the ladder.
28. The player searches through several debris piles in order to find the last part.
Wish List:
5. a. Small train cars that can be moved using the gravnull.
b. Crates the players can slide on their own or picked up using the gravnull.
c. Paneling in the train cars for player to stripe and use.
d. A bigger train car which blocks the path the player must take in order to progress.
e. A C4 Explosive the player makes in order to blast open a side of a train car to
progress to next area.
