- This Netflix documentary chronicles the peculiar kidnapping case of Jan Broberg

an Idaho teenager who was abducted by her decades-older neighbor Robert Berchtold in the 1970s. But Berchtold—known as “B”—did not just kidnap Broberg once; he entrapped Jan’s religious parents in such a web of trust, shame, and complicity that he managed to convince the family to drop the most serious kidnapping charges against him, continue letting him spend disturbing amounts of time with their young daughter, and—in the most shocking twist of all—he eventually kidnapped her a second time.
Precious
- This movie features a 16-year-old Claireece "Precious" Jones (Gabourey Sidibe) who is pregnant by her own father for the second time. Previous can neither read nor write and suffers constant abuse at the hands of her vicious mother (Mo'Nique). Precious instinctively sees a chance to turn her life around when she is offered the opportunity to transfer to an alternative school. select a model to engage in the treatment planning process.
The model selected should:

3. demonstrate rationale for use that clearly demonstrates the

and family dynamics.
Identification of the treatment model should include:
1. an overview of the model as you understand it;
2. who is well known in developing the model;
3. the
specific
aspects of the model
that make it ideal to utilize as a treatme nt approach with the

specific examples of how you would apply these approaches;
and
4. integration of additional literature that indicates how the
application of the model used would be applicable with the
family given the family’s structure and presenting issue(s).
Presentation of the model should also indicate any adaptations
that should be made to the treatment approach in view of the
unique nature of the family such as: (a) racial/ethnic identity;
(b) socioeconomic status; (c) religious/faith/spiritual identity;
(d) sexual orientation/gender identity/gender expression; (e)
military affiliation; (f) (dis)ability status, etc.
6. Adaptations should also be rooted in relevant literature that
suggests use of adaptations based on the unique factor(s)
indicated.

limitations/barriers you may having in using such a model in the
future and how you plan to address those limitations.

Paper Length:
Your paper should be no more than seven (7) pages in length.
The cover page, the references page(s), appendix A, and
appendix B are *not* part of the total page count for this
assignment. You will not lose points for including the cover

One (1) point will be deducted from the overall grade for every

Paper must include a minimum of seven (7) distinct in-text
citations / references. At least one (3) must be one of your
