3. Magazine Genre
YOUNG! Magazine is a British High Street Magazine, aimed at a young female
audience aged 20-30. With an Interest in Fashion, and the latest High Street
Buy‟s!
The article will be on home-made clothing and how to do it.
The Interviewee, Emily Unzworth White, talks about how too with high quality
and little quantity.
There will be a double page spread on the latest “After Dark” style,
inspired by Josephine Baker.

4. „D.I.Dye‟
The Photo-shoot will take place by
the “See no evil” Bristol graffiti
where I will have a few model’s wear
some of the Tie-Dye and Home-
made clothing that Emily has made,
including Emily herself.
I will be asking Emily about her Tie-Dye
business and how the YOUNG! audience
can do it themselves.

5. “After Dark“
Josephine Baker Style
This double page spread will be about
what to wear out Josephine Baker Style.
She was at her peak in the1930‟s for
show-business, The Page will be a mixture
of original photo‟s from her own photo-
shoot‟s and the magazine‟s own inspired
version‟s.
I will be taking the photo‟s in a basement
with a white backdrop like the ones in this
photo. And experiment with making
shadow‟s and using prop‟s.

6. The Magazines Layout and Design will be based
on Magazines such as Elle, Vogue, and InStyle as
people who answered my Questionnaire
answered “The Layout and Design’s of Vogue
interest me more than magazines like Look and
Company, they’re nicer to look at and are more
glamorous and less crowded.”
