MHS INTRO

1. • Our physical library is a large
flexible space that can be utilized
by 3 classes at a time.
• We have the ability to move shelves
out of the center of the room to
create a large meeting space or
keep it seperated.
• We have small areas for group
collaboration and space for
independent individual space.

3. • Our collection contains
approximately 30,000 print
books.
• We subscribe to 30
magazines, both academic
& popular.
• We also receive two print
newspapers daily.
• We add diveristy in our
print resources both
culturally and academically.

4. • We have many online &
electronic resources that
stakeholders can access on
our webpage.
• On this page are many
database & electronic book
subscriptions for online
research.
• Our teachers and students
also have access to video
databases: Safari Montage
& Discovery Education.
• We also have school
subscriptions to
Noodletools & Turnitin.com

5. • We are also fortunate to have a new MakerSpace in
our library that we have been creating for over 2
years.
• Our MakerSpace has a variety of tools that students
are allowed to use to MAKE anything they may be
inclined to create.
• Our students have just begun to use this space for
their MYP projects.

6. • We have 2 laptops
carts with 16 Dell
laptops each, 14 Dell
desktops, & 10 iMacs
in the media center
for student use.
• We also have a
computer lab with 30
Dell Desktops
attached to the
media center.

• Our library hours are 6:30-3:00 M-W, 6:30- 3:30 Thurs., 6:30- 2:30 Friday
• We have a flexible schedule that allows students to visit the library when
needed as long as they come with a pass from their teacher.
• Students also visit the library during their assigned lunch.
