1. The effects of the Triangular Trade included lots of trade. From England to America we
brought manufactured products such as guns, cloth, furniture, tools, tea and spices. From
American to England we sent raw materials from natural resources such as timber, fur,
iron, fish, whale oil and one of the only “finished” products we sent was rum. From
England to Africa we send goods that were traded were iron products, cloth, trinkets,
beads, copper, guns and ammunition. Good from Africa were slaves, spices, gold, ivory
and feathers. The Triangle Trade provided a “favorable balance of trade”. Colonist
brought in much more than they shipped out. The balance of the trade was in England’s
favor. England made more money on their finished goods. Taxes were soon
implemented and as a result the American Revolution would soon begin.
