4. Mathletes:
It’s time to sharpen your pencils and
tackle some math. Join the math team!
Practice sessions are held in Rm. A322
during lunch on Mondays, Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays, and after school
on Tuesdays and Fridays. Come when
you can – challenges will happily be
provided.
5. College Visits:
8/29 – University of Portland
9/8 – Boston University; Vanderbilt University
(Juniors & Seniors are to sign-up on
Naviance/Family Connections. Fill out permission
form found under “document library” on the home
page of Naviance. Copies are also in Mr. Fong’s
office.)
6. Boston College:
The University will be hosting a reception for
juniors, seniors, and their families on Wednesday,
Sept. 7, at the Kahala Hotel & Resort. This is a
wonderful opportunity for students who want to
learn more about the school and the college
application process. See Mr. Fong for details and to
RSVP.
7. Fall Play Auditions:
Auditions for “Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr.”, will be
held on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 29 and 30, from
5-7pm at Mamiya Theater on the St. Louis School
campus. Students in grades 9-12 are asked to
prepare a joke to tell and two contrasting songs to
sing a Capella or with a minus-one track (no vocals)
on a CD or mobile device.

8. Lost and Found:
Please stop by the HS Office if you have
lost anything on campus. Many school
sweaters and uniform clothing, water
bottles and flasks, shoes, lunch bags,
etc. All items left unclaimed by Friday,
Sept. 2 will be donated or discarded.
