WHO WE ARE HELPING:
We desire to help those vulnerable single mom’s who are
currently living in extreme poverty. These are the poorest of the
poor. Many are currently begging on the streets with their
infants or living on less than $25 per month. We are looking at
long term solutions where families begin to create their own
sustainability and are not dependent on hand outs.
6. E N C O U R A G E E T H I O P I A
WE BELIEVE:
We believe each person deserves dignity, and the hope that
Jesus demonstrated. We believe each person here in Ethiopia
has the abilities and strengths to accomplish great things. We
believe that the local community and churches working
together with Encourage Ethiopia can bring long term health
and sustainability to families who are vulnerable to the cycles of
extreme poverty.

WHAT WE DO:
Empowering families (single mom’s) - Young kids are cared for, and
mothers are given the opportunity to find work and create sustainability
for their families. This is accomplished through a day care ministry
house and staff of caregivers, nurses, social worker and others.
Providing Support - Helping families thrive by providing much needed
nutrition, health care, clothing, counseling, life-skill/Parenting training,
and other support where needed.
Microfinance Loans - Empower individuals and communities with job
skill training, and small business loans, helping to create long-term
sustainability for each family.
Spiritual support – Bringing Christ’s hope to each person through small
group support and mentoring by partnerships with local churches and
the local communities.
