1. HE GAVE

Donations… there are plenty of kinds of donations, to name some, we have food
donations, clothing, money and etc. and the most remarkable one is the blood
donation. Now it is common for us to hear people having conversations about
donating blood. But what does this truly mean?
Today in our modern world, donating blood is a safe procedure that hurts very
little. Donors lie on a soft bed in a clean environment while nurses use clean
needles to collect their blood.
When Jesus Christ gave His blood over 2000 years ago, He did not have the
benefit of a soft bed and clean needles. Roman soldiers nailed His body on a
wooden cross by hammering spikes through His hands and feet. Jesus hanged for
hours in excruciating pain. The Son of God’s blood slowly drained from His body.
This first blood donation in the history of human kind was neither safe nor
painless. It cost the donor His life!
See, how breathtaking it was. No one among us could ever do what He did. He
could have escaped His death. He is powerful and yet He submitted Himself to the
will of the Father. He did not simply donate his life, He totally gave that He may
give life to us. Like what the late President Ninoy Aquino said, “Filipinos are worth
dying for,” not just the Filipinos actually but, “everyone is worth dying for.”

2. CONSUMMATE

It was totally dark everywhere,
And I heard a voice,” I will love you I swear.”
It was mama for sure,
And I felt truly safe and secure.
At last, you delivered me into this world,
I began to crawl and speak few words.
I made you and papa very happy,
Everytime you see me smile and play mirthfully.
I grew up, you stood behind me,
I was naughty at times but you forgave immediately.
You always showed me you care,
Even when I made you cry and you can’t bear.
But you know mama, you are my quest,
Definitely, I am lucky and blest.
Coz a mother like you is every daughter’s dream,
I’ll treasure you till I find rest in Him.

3. PATAWARIN MO
