PWAP: Headed by Edward Bruce, run through the Treasury Department, paid for by the Civil Works Administration.FAP: employ out of work artists to create visual images for non federal buildings, e.g. schools, hospitals, libraries, etc.; support some of the most famous american artists: de Kooning, Pollock, Lee Krasner, Rothko, etc.The shared experience of the FAP promoted their experiencesSection fo Fine Arts famous for the post office murals. This was highlgy competitive and awarded commissions via rigorous competition
