Who: the undergraduate student body
 government at Indiana University

What: seeks to enrich student life and
 improve the University as a whole
What is the structure of IUSA?

                            Executive Branch
                                60 members and
                               25 freshman interns

         62 members representing all
                                                     11 members
         schools & housing locations

        10 members                                        12 members

                               60 representatives
What is the structure of IUSA?
                           Executive Branch
                              60 members and
                             25 freshman interns


• Executives elected by the student body (Student Body President, Vice-
  President of Administration, Vice-President of Congress, Treasurer)

• Comprised of twelve senior staff members and over sixty directors and
  committee members, in addition to 25 freshman interns

• Spearhead initiatives organically and voice student concerns to
  administrators & faculty

• Also tasked at executing of all actions assigned by Congress as
  prescribed by the IUSA Constitution
What is the structure of IUSA?
                          Legislative Branch
                          62 members representing all
                          schools & housing locations



• Each Congressman is elected by his constituency on campus

• More than 60 Congress members in total represent various academic
  and residential constituencies on the Bloomington campus

• Propose and vote on resolutions that change policy and procedures
  within the administration of the University

• Serve on Congressional committees to stay current on such and
  represent issues in such areas as sustainability, academic affairs, and
  transportation.
