samples to the RVL for the cultural examination.

Gorkha: No helminthes seen, only B. coli seen
Parvat: out of 24 fecal samples tested, 12 were
negative, 1 positive for Paramphistomum, and 11
positive for B. coli.
21. Facilities needed for further improvement of
Animal Disease Diagnosis
There is a need of disease diagnostic centre (BSL-1) in
Besisahar, Lamjung to cover two districts- Lamjung and
Manang; in Beni Myagdi for Myagdi and Mustang; in
Baglung for Parvat and Baglung; in Pokhara for Syangja and
Kaski; in Gorkha for Tanahu and Gorkha and in Kawasoti for
Nawalpur District.
22. • Provision of at least one Basic Safety Level-1 (BSL-
1) laboratory in each rural municipality.
• One Bio-safety level-2 ( BSL-2) laboratory for
disease diagnosis in this province.
