1. Profile Hi, I'm a 39 year old competitive, sporty & passionated entrepreneur/physician with a
great interest for human and digital & fusion of both.
I strongly believe that medicine has come to a point where big changes are needed: we
have to change our reactive way of dealing with health & sickness towards a proactive
way of dealing with both. Digitalization therefore is the biggest change since the discovery
of the human body by Vesalius.
As a doctor I would rather see medicine as a service rather than a technical act. I rather
approach my patients as clients rather then calling them patients. I strongly believe in
client experience and therefore looking for all means to improve that experience by a
perfect service , a qualitative communication and high access for all clients. Technology
can help that client experience in a way that it's improving quality & enlarging patient
access. Technologies such as digitalization of patient reported outcomes; offering the
possibility of telemedicine; prescreening to prioritize patient acces; individualized
treatment according to the need of patient, putting the accent on pro-active medicine
rather then heaving to deal with reactiveness.
As an entrepreneur I'm dealing with challenges & difficulties I've experienced myself as a
doctor. Starting from optimizing client experience, I want to create solution with
introduction of technology means to improve communication between health care
providers & between patients and healthcare providers. Furthermore I want to improve
access to qualitative care. Provide the patients/clients with information and skills needed
for patient autonomy and patient centricity. I believe in apps and medical digital devices.
Not as silo's but integrated into a bigger platform. I am convinced of the "big data" story.
I want to build a strong brand putting all my knowledge and passion into it, managed by a
team of professionals all convinced of our mission: "when human meets digital" & "Eat

4. Hobbies I believe in self-development: "Mens Sana in Corpore Sano". Therefore I love putting my
