2. Grading Scheme
 Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by multiplying the
points obtained in each course by the number of credit
hours of the respective course. CGPA is computed by
dividing the total number of grade points earned by the
total number of credit hours taken. A student must
maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade point Average
(CGPA) of 2.00 throughout his/her stay at TIP. A student
with a CGPA of less than 2.0 is placed on Academic
Probation. A student faces dismissal from the Institute, if
he/she is unable to bring the CGPA (Cumulative GPA) up to
a level of 2.00 in the semester following the one in which
he/she was placed on Academic Probation.
