1. Strong bioassay directed drug discovery experience
2. Strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of natural product research
in botanicals, traditional medicine, functional foods, botanical drugs
and functional cosmetics
3. Experience with process development and pilot production are highly
desirable as is collaboration with bioassay, in vitro and in vivo
pharmacology and toxicology groups
4. Proficiency with structure elucidation, computer software programs
including MS Office and a variety of computerized scientific tools

2. Competency of Natural Product
Chemist
5. Conducts natural product research including plant sourcing, extraction,
isolation, purification, identification, standardization and quantification
of bioactive natural compounds
6. Operate and maintain HPLC, LC/MS, NMR, GC/MS and other instrument
7. Manages pilot production and scale-up production of natural
compositions required to advance leads into pre-clinical development,
human clinical trial and commercialization

3. Competency of Natural Product

8. Deep understanding of natural product biosynthesis
9. Virtual drug discovery campaign
10. Willingness to interface with lab automation systems
11. Experience coding in python and R
12. Write report, manuscript, patent application, prepare poster and ppt
