Mahachularlongkorn University (MCU) in Thailand promotes Buddhist economics by providing low-cost education, free food and accommodation, and overseas missionary programs. MCU offers very low tuition rates for both Thai and international students. It also sends about 40 monks abroad each year on missionary programs and encourages foreign students to participate. MCU operates a low-cost restaurant and food donation center to feed students and staff according to Buddhist economic principles. It also holds various international Buddhist conferences and events.

economic at present in daily life for both
monks and lay-people. not only m.c.u provide
for only Buddhist but also they try to promote
aboard missionary work in others country
especially west so how and what are the their
activates lets' see.

both international and Thai students.
• Most of International student welling to come
MCU because of cheap pries.
• Most Thai come and joy M.C.U because it is
look like free education paying about 2000
baths for a semester.

4. Aboard missionary works
• M.C.U provide Oversee Dhammaduta bhikkhu
programs in every year. officially Each years
about 40 monk usually leave for aboard
especially west.
• According to administer, they encourage to joy
foreign students too in this program.

5. Food & Accommodation free
• Provide the foods to the students it is also free
good economic system used by MCU.

and offer then MCU also gain donations from
