The boy was given a telescope as a birthday gift by his father. When he looked through it at the night sky, he saw stars that were very bright and striking. He asked his father about what he was seeing, and was told they were stars and the moon. Fascinated, the next day he asked his grandfather to tell him a story about the stars. His grandfather told him a folk tale about a time of famine, when hunters encountered a rare white bear but could not catch it. After a week, they finally killed the bear, at which point it transformed into streams of light in the sky and each hunter became a star. 6. The White Bear
Today I was very happy
because today was my
birthday. My father took a
telescope as a gift. I thanked
my dad. This was one of the
best gift I had taken.

7. My father offered to set
up the telescope. I
immediately set up with my
father. I went to the front of
the telescope and I arranged
it for a better view.

8. When I looked up, I saw
something big in the sky. It
was the most interesting thing I
had seen. It was impressive

9. I asked my father what they
were. Then he said: they were
stars and the moon. The stars
were so bright and striking that
I wanted to learn more about
them.

10. The next day I visited my
grandfather and my
grandfather.I mentioned about
the stars which I saw yesterday.
They told me a story about it. It
was about a famine which
lasted for four years.

11. People suffered with hunger.
Staple food dried. Their meat
stocks began falling sharply..
They did their best to eat
something. One day, ravenous
hunters went hunting and
encountered with a white bear.

12. The hunters wanted to catch
the white bear but they
couldn’t. At the end of week,
they killed the white gorgeous
bear. As soon as they killed it
they turned into streamers in
the sky and each of the hunters
became a star. I thanked my
grandfather for the story. This
story impressed me so much.
