13. in which you once walked according to the course of this world,

For the weapons we fight with are not fleshly but mighty in
Alahim for overthrowing strongholds, overthrowing reasonings
and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of
Alahim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the
Messiah, and being ready to punish all disobedience, when your
obedience is complete.

14. from Him who called you in the favour of Messiah, to a different
‘Good News, ’which is not another, only there are some who are
troubling you and wishing to pervert the Besorah of
HaMaschiyach.

However, even if we, or a messenger out of heaven, bring a
‘Good News’ to you beside what we announced to you, let him be

For by favour you have been saved, through belief, and that not

15. John 14:17
the Spirit of the Truth, whom the world is unable to receive,
because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for
He stays with you and shall be in you.

And see, there was a man in Yerushalayim whose name was
Shim‛on,(hearing) and this man was righteous and dedicated,
looking for the comforting of Y‘shra’uwl. And the Set-apart Spirit

apart Spirit that he would not see death before he sees the

18. “Now let me die, since I have seen your face, that you are still
alive.” “I, YHVVH, have called You in righteousness, and I
strengthen(taken hold of) Your hand and guard You, and give
You for a covenant to a people, for a light to the nations, and He
says, “Shall it be a small matter for You to be My Servant to raise
up the tribes of Ya‛aqoḇ, and to bring back the preserved ones of
Y’shra ‘uwl? And I shall give You as a light to the nations, to be
My deliverance to the ends of the earth!” and He says, “Shall it be

19. And he came in the Spirit into the Set-apart Place. And as the

to the usual practice of the Towrah, then he took Him up in his
arms and blessed Alahim and said,
“Now let Your servant go in peace, O Master, according to Your
word,

mother, “See, this One is set for a fall and rising of many in Y’shra
’uwl, and for a sign spoken against – and a sword shall pierce

in a favourable time” and “in a day of salvation” are parallel
Yashayahu 49:13,
Sing, O heavens, rejoice, O earth! And break out in singing, O
mountains! For YHVVH shall comfort His people and have
compassion on His afflicted ones.
