This document provides instructions for changing the pickup location of an item on hold. It involves 6 steps: 1) checking out the held item to the branch account, 2) keeping the hold active, 3) accessing the customer's account and requests menu, 4) highlighting and editing the requested item, 5) noting the original pickup location of TOM, and 6) setting the new pickup location of FB before checking in the item and generating a transit slip to the new location.

1. CHANGING PICKUP
LOCATION

2. STEP 1
Locate item on hold shelf and
checkout to branch account.
Click Yes to “Do you want
to check it out to”:

3. STEP 2
Clicking Yes keeps the Hold Active.
Click Yes to “Renew this
borrower’s request?”

4. STEP 3
In the customer’s account select
Requests from the Borrower Menu.

5. STEP 4
Highlight the requested item, then
Edit.

6. STEP 5
TOM was the original Pickup
Location (Change Pickup Location)

7. STEP 6
FB is the new Pickup Location
Item should be checked in and produce a
transit slip going to FB.
