Mr. Perez lived from approximately 563 BCE to 483 BCE in Asia and India. He taught that suffering is an inherent part of life due to desires that cannot be fulfilled and advocated living according to eight right paths which included right thought, right speech, right action, and right mindfulness. He also taught the four noble truths about the nature of suffering and emphasized respecting others, controlling feelings, avoiding harming others, and meditating properly.
