3. How the staff can help:
• DO give written passes on the yellow pass
sheets (available in the main office).
– Don’t send students out in hallway without a
pass or with something that besides a written
pass with student name, time, date,
destination, and teacher name.

4. Prevention averts many problems
• Lock up your personal property.
• Do not give your keys to students
• Stand in the hallway during
passing periods and monitor
students.

5. Communication is key:
• If there is a problem, please notify campus
officers immediately.
– Call the main office (PA or phone), voice mail is not
prudent for emergencies.
• Report:
– Any stolen property
– Any fight/confrontation (verbal or physical)
– Any thing that makes you think there will be a
problem later
• Don’t assume someone else has reported it, if
you see or hear something let security know.
