of high school students are interested in a STEM career and have
proven a proficiency in mathematics.
 There are not enough people with strong STEM knowledge and
skills to fill the demand for jobs in the U.S.
 For the U.S. to remain the global innovation leader, we must
make the most of all of the potential STEM talent this country has
to offer… that is YOU!
 The time to start thinking about STEM programs is NOW. What
you do now, and in middle school, will prepare you for entry into
Cobb County’s STEM programs.
