PEEK – A – BOO
Have someone gather a few food items for you – DON”T PEEK.
Close your eyes, hold your nose and try to identify the items only by taste.

TIC-TAC-TOE
Materials required:
• 10 paper plates.
• Coloured tape / chalk
• Marker
How to play:
Players take turn putting their plates in the grid in an attempt to get 3 of
their plates (either X or O) in a row – vertical / horizontal / diagonal.
Preparation:
On the floor of your garden / room, create a big tic- tac –toe grid using tape /
chalk. It should have 9 boxes (3 rows and 3 columns).
Mark a large “X” on the back of five paper plates and a large “0” on the
back of other five paper plates. Use marker pens for this.

HOME SCAVENGER HUNT
• Parents will prepare a list on a
paper (like the one given below)
and share it with the children.
• The time limit given to the children
for this game will be 5 minutes.
• The children will carry this list
with them when they are searching
for these items.
• On finding the items, they will put a
tick.
• After the time is over, the parent
will review items collected by the
children.

SCIENCE EXPERIMENT
• Material Required:
1) Large Container / Bucket.
2) Enough water to fill the container high
enough that you can completely submerge
the glass in it.
3)Glass (Preferably a transparent glass).
4)Paper Towel / any paper available at home.
9. • Steps to be followed / Procedure:
Step 1 -Begin by filling a large container full of water. There must be enough
water in the container for you to completely submerge the glass.
Step 2 – Next tear off a section of paper towel / any paper and stuff it into
the bottom of the glass.
Step 3 – Carefully turn the glass upside down.
Step 4 – Carefully lower the glass into straight down into the water. Ensure
that the glass does not tip to the side. Lower the glass until it is completely
submerged.
Step 5 – Pull the glass straight out of the water. Ensure that the glass does not tip
to the side. Then carefully remove the paper towel from the glass. What happens
to the paper towel / paper? Is it dry or wet? Why is it so? Research and
think of the possible reasons and discuss the same with your parents.
