1. Walking/Biking Advocacy Group for Hershey-Hummelstown
You’re Invited to An Informational Meeting
Monday, June 23 from 6:30 to 7:45 PM
at the Hershey Library
To talk about possibly forming a walking /
biking advocacy group for the Hershey -
Hummelstown area.
We want to encourage and enable as many
people as possible to bike and walk. Sometimes,
we may want to gently remind PennDOT or the
municipality or a
developer or the
police that a road
needs a place for
bikes or a
crosswalk should be re-painted or a
section of sidewalk is needed to fill in a
gap - so that everyone from the 8 year
olds to the 80 year olds can be safe as
they walk or bike in our community.
Other times, we may want to publically
thank and recognize a particular police
officer or government employee who has
gone above and beyond the call of duty to
support walking and biking.
