Essay about My Business Idea
My Business Idea
In my coursework I intend to start my own business. I will devise my own business plan which
outlines my business proposal and the key aspects, during this I will need to seek good business
advice on the necessary steps I will have to make. As I go through the coursework I will show
evidence, examples and explain how businesses are set up, what types of businesses there are and
their similarities, the kind of targets businesses set for themselves and also the different objectives of
different stakeholders. For my business I plan to sell toys and other game products that educate
young children under the age of 11.
Starting up a business is difficult and risky. Anyone setting up needs to consider:

Most people though have to research their product. Businesses also have to decide how the product
is to be made.
Finance
=======
No businesses can be set up without finance. Most people who start their own business
underestimate the amount of money they will need to set up. They are often UNCAPITALISED
and this causes problems as the business expands. Some businesses have the potential to be highly
profitable but fail because they run out of cash at a crucial early stage in the life of the business. So
it is very important to work out how much money is needed to start the business and to identify
where the money will come from.
Identifying the sources of help
===============================
Most new businesses don not survive for more than three years of trading. However, their chance of
success is much greater if those setting up the business have received help from experts before the
launch. Many new businesses turn to Business Link or to their local
TEC. They can identify any grants, loans or benefits that are available from government or from
bodies like the Prince's Trust. They can also organise training in setting up small businesses that is
so often vital to the survival of the business.
The business plan
=================
Drawing up a business plan is very important. The business plan sets out how the business is to be
set up and

Truth Essay
Truth
The question of right and wrong has been battled over for centuries. Many conservatives still believe
that truth is absolute, while others disagree, saying that truth is relative. I believe that truth is an
individual's perception of beliefs and decisions.
For that reason, truth differentiates among individuals thorough their contrasting opinions. But, truth
is something that everyone believes to be correct. Thus, it greatly depends on what's true in the
minds of the people. On the contrary, truth that's spoken with bad intent is considered to be worse
than a lie. Hence, truth is an expression, symbol or statement that corresponds to reality and
happiness.
Truth is dominated by one's subjective thoughts and beliefs. It is a...show more content...
Nevertheless, I also consider truth to be absolute, and therefore, it is never right to do wrong. Truth
is the purity that differentiates between right and wrong. "Absolute Truth" is true regardless of what
we believe and think. Absolute truth stands on its own. In the sense, absolute truth is absolutely true
no matter what evidence there is for it. Truth is what corresponds to the facts. Truth does not change
just because we learn something about it.
Also, truth is not always good to say. If the objective of telling the truth is to hurt someone, then it is
considered to be inferior to a most terrible lie. For that reason, while speaking the truth we should
keep in mind that it doesn't hurt someone else's feelings or relations. The problem we face is that,
we feel the urge to tell the truth when we see it. But, we should try to accomplish this without
disapproving condemnations that hurt others. So when we freely express harsh judgment of another,
we are in fact talking about those negative qualities of ourselves that trouble us the most.
Likewise, care should be taken that truth that's spoken for self–satisfaction does not impair someone
else's life. Similarly, we should always bear in mind that at times lie can also be beneficial to say if,
it brings happiness to others. Hence, if the truth is spoken with the purpose of destruction of
something or someone then

My Love Of Writing
Writing has always played a huge role in my life. I've been reading writing for as long as I can
remember as I have an immense love of reading. This love would grow into a love for writing as
well; I still stumble upon journals and writings from my five–year–old self about the happenings in
my kindergarten class. As time would go on I would discover academic writing, and how to convey
my thoughts on what was the topic of student that particular year or semester in my schooling.
Later, writing would become a constant for me, and a comfort; I was known to my friends as
always having a journal, and a pen on my person. I learned to write down my feelings and my
thoughts, song lyrics that were in my head, reflections for the day. I learned how...show more

Moreover, it's crucial that I understand and make use of the particular conventions of each of these
genres of writing. In my quest to reach those goals and be a more successful writer, I know I need
to practice time–management, honing my writing skills, collaboration; in terms of the review and
revision process, as well as focusing on the best strategies to properly convey the desired affect on
the work's audience.
I hope to gain experience from this writing course, and from my fellow classmates. I hope to gain
insight into how other people write and go about their writing process. I hope to learn from the
feedback I receive from my instructors and peers on my writing submissions. I wish to come out
of this course a better writer all around, and in addition to form good habits that will carry me far
beyond the scope of this course. Ideally, I hope to complete all of the outcomes listed in the WPA
Outcomes Document. I have high expectations of myself. I plan to learn from my mistakes, and
take the lessons from each assignment forward into how I approach the follow assignment. I
expect to learn and keep better time management skills, and I expect myself to grasp all that a FYC
has to teach me and to incorporate it in a way I failed to do before. From

What Is Religion? Essay
What is religion? Each person's definition of religion is different. Each person's faith is different.
This is a question that has been asked for centuries, and regardless of the answer given there is no
right or wrong answer. Religion can be defined as a group of people who have shared beliefs who
feel their life has purpose or meaning. This feeling or belief that their life has meaning can come
from outside of themselves, as well as within. Taking this one step further, these shared beliefs put
into action in the form of worship, can be easily identified because they happen regularly. It can be
said the Primal religions were in fact not religions. Some may argue Confucianism is not a religion.
Others may say Taoism is not a...show more content...
They are teachings learned by previous generations then passed down, they are not always
actions. The fifth feature of religion is grace. Grace is defined by Smith as "the belief and
assurance that reality is on our side and can be counted on." Lastly there is mystery. For this there
is no exact definition, but it is all of what a religion cannot explain, it is all that the human mind
cannot grasp, it is the certain "higher power" that religion offers. Of these six features, there are
three that are present in most all religions, they are: authority, tradition, and mystery. Authority,
tradition, and mystery further explore and define religion when looking specifically at Primal
Religions, Confucianism, and Taoism. Primal Religions are often mistaken to be the religion of the
primitive man, often thought to be unintelligent. There is a definition of "primal" that is better
suited than unintelligent or primitive. Primal in terms of religion, refers to the lack of exposure to
technology, it is not "knowing" the state of consciousness given to many by the technological
environment. Primal religions preceded organized religion as we know it today by thousands of
years, in some cases millions, but are still present in the world today; we now call them tribal
religions. Within primal religions there are people who are knowledgeable about life, who are

Essay on Charity
Charity A Charity is an organisation that exists to enable one group of people to help another. It can
sometimes be for animals or nature. Many of the best known charities were set up by people who
felt passionate about a situation that they believed was wrong or preventable.
There are 180 thousand charities in the United Kingdom alone. The idea of charities is to do away
with the problems they were set up to tackle. They would prefer not to have to exist at all. In the
United Kingdom it is easy to create a charity to do what you think is right. You can raise money and
get involved in your...show more content...
However, this does not solve all the problems of the world. So some would say, why bother trying?
On the other hand another way of thinking about it is – just how bad would the world be without
that money helping out? The government donates money to the charities from us, the taxpayer and
for many people they like to know where their money is going. Many charities are involved in
improving the lives of people around the globe. There are, however always lots of cynical people
who knock charities especially if the money is not spent in our country, believing that 'charity begins
at home'. Many charities in the United Kingdom do help the local people from homelessness to
cancer relief, but recently international aid – helping others in different countries is one of the most
hotly debated areas in the voluntary sector.
The aid agencies actions and their attachment or lack of it from governments are all under scrutiny.
International aid agencies attract more donations than any other charitable cause bringing in ВЈ486
million in 2001–02. This beats donations for cancer, children and animal charities.
So how do charities use their money? Charities usually need money for three things. Firstly, the
largest part of any donation goes to the cause or group for which it was
given (usually around 80%) this will pay for the people, food, medicines

Essay on You Are What You Eat
You Are What You Eat It is indeed true that the quality of food that you take in will do a great
deal to determine the quality of life that goes on in each cell of your body. Food has a huge effect
on your health, and a diet rich in any one aspect would be an unhealthy diet, in the same way that a
diet lacking in a certain nutrient would also affect your health. A balanced diet consists of
carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins, minerals and water. Carbohydrate provides us with energy.
Fats (lipids) with healthy cell membranes and an energy reserve. Proteins are essential for growth
and repair or body tissues. Vitamins are needed to keep our cells working properly and minerals
build molecules...show more content...
The averages for male and female are two thousand–nine hundred for males and two thousand–one
hundred for females. Protein is recommended seventy grams for males and fifty–eight for females.
Fat is ninety grams for a male and seventy for a female (Samuels & Henett, 1973). Although some
amounts vary for male and female most vitamins are consistent for both sexes, like seventy
milligrams of vitamin C. What types of food you eat determine whether your diet is healthy. By
looking at the nutritional information of food packaging we can see what we get out of what we
eat. Per one hundred grams of chocolate we are provided with four hundred and ninety–one calories,
six point one grams of protein and twenty–three grams of fat. Where as per one hundred grams of
cereal, such as corn flakes, we are provided with three hundred and seventy calories, six grams of
protein and only one gram of fat. By comparing these two foods we can clearly see which one is
healthier, as chocolate has and extremely high fat content. In this way could say that maybe what
you eat is what you are because if you ate a diet rich in chocolate with few vitamins etc then your
skin would not be as healthy and weight gain would be inevitable with such high levels of saturated
and unsaturated lipids into your system. The absence of proteins, would cause weak bones, your
cells would not operate so well as

My Future Essay
My future is something I often think about. Most often, the questions that arise include the
common doubts of "Am I doing this right?", or even the occasional midnight philosophical
questions such as "Why are we here?", and so on. For the purpose of this essay, I will focus on the
factors that have allowed me to reach this point in my life and how these factors influenced and
continue to influence me, in order to provide me with a visualization of my future.
Factors that contributed to my current life choices include the desperate want to be something
greater, as well as to experience the world in ways some could only dream of. I study hard,
allowing for me to have the possibility of an early graduation. I dream big, allowing me with the
imagination to draw up plans for myself and my future. I work hard, allowing me the strength and
vision to execute my plans for the future. The way that I was raised has greatly benefited me. My
parents have taught me that anything and everything is possible as long as you work hard for it
despite the what others may tell you or even if the odds are against you. Another factor that led to
my current life, is the amount of time I allow myself to think about my plans and refine them. This is
extremely important because, without a solid, flexible, long–term plan, you could get lost in
dreaming about the future, and end up not accomplishing anything. Hence, many aspects of my life
have been planned out with not one or two possible alternatives

My Writing Style
Kim,
Thank you for allowing me to read your paper. This is a great start to a well written final product.
What do you like about the writing?
I enjoyed reading your paper. You have a writing style that invites the reader to fully engage your
argument. You presented a clear, logical presentation of course material combined with personal
insights and experiences that were well suited for your paper. It was a thorough and thoughtful
presentation of the material. Well done.
How is the writing objective (not overly subjective) communicating ideas with clarity?
You provided a nice balance of objectivity and subjectivity as your cited ample evidence for your
argumentation and interweaved personal reflections and anecdotes into the paper. Your did an
excellent job in using the breadth and depth of texts that were used in our classes, which made for
a well rounded paper. Apart from a few areas of your paper which may need to be reworded and
fine tuned, I would suggest defining a few of the terms that are used in your paper, to make their
meaning more clear to your reader (Weltanschauung, meaning perspective, distorted assumptions
etc.). These are noted in my comments on your paper....show more content...
Your writing provided an orderly and structured approach to the presentation of your argument. I
appreciated your use of citations to support your ideas, which helped the reader understand the
connection between leadership and inquiry. There were a number of instances in which you provide
overt transitions from one paragraph to another which promoted a pattern of thought that was easily
digestible. I would offer the suggestion to use section headings in the paper that correspond to your
key points. Occasionally, I was left wondering which section you were focusing on, even though it
was well

Primal religions preceded organized religion as we know it today by thousands of years, in some cases millions, but are still present in the world today; we now call them tribal religions. Within primal religions there are people who are knowledgeable about life, who are knowledgeable about Defining Religion–4 traditions, and who are Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay on Charity Charity A Charity is an organisation that exists to enable one group of people to help another. It can sometimes be for animals or nature. Many of the best known charities were set up by people who felt passionate about a situation that they believed was wrong or preventable. There are 180 thousand charities in the United Kingdom alone. The idea of charities is to do away with the problems they were set up to tackle. They would prefer not to have to exist at all. In the United Kingdom it is easy to create a charity to do what you think is right. You can raise money and get involved in your...show more content... However, this does not solve all the problems of the world. So some would say, why bother trying? On the other hand another way of thinking about it is – just how bad would the world be without that money helping out? The government donates money to the charities from us, the taxpayer and for many people they like to know where their money is going. Many charities are involved in improving the lives of people around the globe. There are, however always lots of cynical people who knock charities especially if the money is not spent in our country, believing that 'charity begins at home'. Many charities in the United Kingdom do help the local people from homelessness to cancer relief, but recently international aid – helping others in different countries is one of the most hotly debated areas in the voluntary sector. The aid agencies actions and their attachment or lack of it from governments are all under scrutiny. International aid agencies attract more donations than any other charitable cause bringing in ВЈ486 million in 2001–02. This beats donations for cancer, children and animal charities. So how do charities use their money? Charities usually need money for three things. Firstly, the largest part of any donation goes to the cause or group for which it was given (usually around 80%) this will pay for the people, food, medicines Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Essay on You Are What You Eat You Are What You Eat It is indeed true that the quality of food that you take in will do a great deal to determine the quality of life that goes on in each cell of your body. Food has a huge effect on your health, and a diet rich in any one aspect would be an unhealthy diet, in the same way that a diet lacking in a certain nutrient would also affect your health. A balanced diet consists of carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins, minerals and water. Carbohydrate provides us with energy. Fats (lipids) with healthy cell membranes and an energy reserve. Proteins are essential for growth and repair or body tissues. Vitamins are needed to keep our cells working properly and minerals build molecules...show more content... The averages for male and female are two thousand–nine hundred for males and two thousand–one hundred for females. Protein is recommended seventy grams for males and fifty–eight for females. Fat is ninety grams for a male and seventy for a female (Samuels & Henett, 1973). Although some amounts vary for male and female most vitamins are consistent for both sexes, like seventy milligrams of vitamin C. What types of food you eat determine whether your diet is healthy. By looking at the nutritional information of food packaging we can see what we get out of what we eat. Per one hundred grams of chocolate we are provided with four hundred and ninety–one calories, six point one grams of protein and twenty–three grams of fat. Where as per one hundred grams of cereal, such as corn flakes, we are provided with three hundred and seventy calories, six grams of protein and only one gram of fat. By comparing these two foods we can clearly see which one is healthier, as chocolate has and extremely high fat content. In this way could say that maybe what you eat is what you are because if you ate a diet rich in chocolate with few vitamins etc then your skin would not be as healthy and weight gain would be inevitable with such high levels of saturated and unsaturated lipids into your system. The absence of proteins, would cause weak bones, your cells would not operate so well as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. My Future Essay My future is something I often think about. Most often, the questions that arise include the common doubts of "Am I doing this right?", or even the occasional midnight philosophical questions such as "Why are we here?", and so on. For the purpose of this essay, I will focus on the factors that have allowed me to reach this point in my life and how these factors influenced and continue to influence me, in order to provide me with a visualization of my future. Factors that contributed to my current life choices include the desperate want to be something greater, as well as to experience the world in ways some could only dream of. I study hard, allowing for me to have the possibility of an early graduation. I dream big, allowing me with the imagination to draw up plans for myself and my future. I work hard, allowing me the strength and vision to execute my plans for the future. The way that I was raised has greatly benefited me. My parents have taught me that anything and everything is possible as long as you work hard for it despite the what others may tell you or even if the odds are against you. Another factor that led to my current life, is the amount of time I allow myself to think about my plans and refine them. This is extremely important because, without a solid, flexible, long–term plan, you could get lost in dreaming about the future, and end up not accomplishing anything. Hence, many aspects of my life have been planned out with not one or two possible alternatives Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. My Writing Style Kim, Thank you for allowing me to read your paper. This is a great start to a well written final product. What do you like about the writing? I enjoyed reading your paper. You have a writing style that invites the reader to fully engage your argument. You presented a clear, logical presentation of course material combined with personal insights and experiences that were well suited for your paper. It was a thorough and thoughtful presentation of the material. Well done. How is the writing objective (not overly subjective) communicating ideas with clarity? You provided a nice balance of objectivity and subjectivity as your cited ample evidence for your argumentation and interweaved personal reflections and anecdotes into the paper. Your did an excellent job in using the breadth and depth of texts that were used in our classes, which made for a well rounded paper. Apart from a few areas of your paper which may need to be reworded and fine tuned, I would suggest defining a few of the terms that are used in your paper, to make their meaning more clear to your reader (Weltanschauung, meaning perspective, distorted assumptions etc.). These are noted in my comments on your paper....show more content... Your writing provided an orderly and structured approach to the presentation of your argument. I appreciated your use of citations to support your ideas, which helped the reader understand the connection between leadership and inquiry. There were a number of instances in which you provide overt transitions from one paragraph to another which promoted a pattern of thought that was easily digestible. I would offer the suggestion to use section headings in the paper that correspond to your key points. Occasionally, I was left wondering which section you were focusing on, even though it was well Get more content on HelpWriting.net
