England. Mainly due to changes to land from farming and
house building. Also pollution and pesticides.

For the first time since they were hunted to

population - and they are here in Devon, on the

The pygmy three-toed sloth is found in a
tiny area of red mangrove forests on an
island in Panama. It rapidly evolved a
much smaller body size in its short 8,900
years of isolation from mainland
species.
