A Report on the use of Long Reach Sealant Gun
The idea behind the product was to enable the completion of air and
fire seal at height. The issue of grid ceilings and other services
sometimes prevents/impedes the use of access equipment.
The product has been developed by Jason Jones of JJ Premier Tools
Ltd.
The gun uses conventional mastic tubes and the foil "sausage meat"
sealants; it is available in 1 & 2metre lengths, providing application up
to 3.5m from the floor.
Scaffoldspodiums do not have to built as high so that problems with
services can be avoided
