2. introduction
– In 2014, BAN-PT held the first international conference on Islamic Higher
Education on 24-26 November in Jakarta themed with Islamic Higher Education
Quality for Global Competitiveness.
– In the following year, BAN-PT collaborating with UIN Jakarta organized the
second international conference on 5-8 October 2015 in Jakarta themed with
Strengthening Quality Assurance in Islamic Higher Education Institutional.
– Sustaining this development spirit, in 2016, BAN-PT and UIN Malang are going
to hold the third international conference concerning the KPI implementation to
Establish the Quality Assurance in Islamic Higher Education in Malang on 17-20
December.
3. issues
– (1) Key Performance Indicators of OIC,
– (2) Developing Strategic Partnership for Quality Assurance in Higher Islamic
Education, and
– (3) The Role of Islamic Higher Education to alleviate Technology Addiction
problem.
4. objectives
– To assess the implementation of OIC’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at
universities in Muslim countries.
– To form an Agreement Islamic values indicators to measure Islam in university
management level.
– To formulate a model of strategic cooperation between universities in Islamic
countries to improve the quality of higher education.
– To formulate strategic actions to deal with technology addiction for Islamic
university students in particular and for Muslim world.
