3. 1. vision for LTH campus
Lund, Sweden
The LTH campus is full of issues and potentials.
The space is very green, with also presence of
water features. The bikes are very welcomed with
the parkings destined to them and pedestrian can
freely stroll within the area. In addition, the green
space lacks furniture, equipments and attractions
that could attracts people to use the space
outside the class hours. Lth is very sprawled, with
a lot of space between buildings. This sprawled
nonstructured space makes the legiblity poor,
contributing to its disconnection and sense of
desorientation.
Strategies:
Wake up the existing vast green area while adding
new landscape and commercial features to make
people spend time outside.
Consider the tram line proposed by the
municipality.
Arouse interaction and curiosity and stimulate
peoples senses and emotions by adding new
elements, colours, lights and sounds in the area.

6. Now moss is undergoing a transformation,
factories and businesses are shutting down or
moving abroad leaving some vacant buildings
and areas in the city. these leftover areas need
to be filled with new functions, as the factories
defined old moss as industrial city, the new
projects will give moss new identity which
represents the new life of moss.

11. Nowadays most of the Chinese city centers are
defined by same looking CBDs which break the
city’s connection to its past and its citizens . Is
there a different way of modernization for city
center? I believe there is when we look into old
center of ZJK.
The old town is organized by orthogonal small
scale street system. All the intersections are not
only traffic nodes but also the nodes for public
life. Public facilities are in these sections including
museums, theatres and temples etc. There’s very
lively urban life in this area where pedestrians can
enjoy a pleasant walking experiences.
What I’m trying to do is to apply this urban fabric
to our site with some small changes to make it
more blend into the current urban structure.

16. In past decades, the municipality put emphasis
more on the revitalization of former industrial
area in the northwest of Malmo and has
successfully transferred a declining shipyard
into a vibrant middle-class attraction. The
transformation also represents the city's attempt
on changing its identity from industrial base into
an innovation center. As the northwest half of
Malmo is speeding up in development, the other
half is comparatively losing attention.
Sofielund is one of Malmö's largest conversion
areas. The conversion and densification will
produce multiple benefits not only to the
sofielund itself but also to the bigger area
surrounding it .
The basic idea is to take the opportunities of
the building of new Rosenborg station and
the expansion of inner city from northwest to
gradually evolve the whole area to become a
part of the inner city. A dense block structure is
proposed with a mix of homes and businesses.
The core values in the area's development would
be of diversity, small scale and variation.
