Ferrari, Indigo, Aircel plans for next year

2. Ferrari will start up business at the start of next year as
the luxury sports car maker.
Despite the crisis they will close the year better than
last year.
The carmaker is currently present in 57 markets.
Fiat currently owns 85 percent of Ferrari.
3. Budget air carrier Indigo has received government's
permission to fly from next year.
The airline would now work on routes and other
modalities involved in its proposed international
operations.
Indigo is the second budget air carrier after Spice Jet,
which would be flying overseas.
Spice Jet, plans to launch flights to Kathmandu and
Colombo from next month.
4. Mobile phone service provider Aircel will launch its services
in the first quarter of next year and will invest $500 million
for the same.
For the entire 2G and 3G it will invest a little over $1 billion.
The firm currently has a subscriber base of 45 million.
The company had won spectrum for 13 new circles across
India. These include Delhi (Metro), Mumbai (Metro),
Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala,
Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Goa, Rajasthan, Punjab,
UP (West) and UP (East).
5. ADF Foods Ltd, a leading packaged Indian food
provider, today has entered into an agreement US-
based Elena's Food Specialities.
Elena's is a US-based manufacturer and marketer of
organic and natural products and a leading provider of
protein-based Mexican foods in the natural and organic
category.
The acquisition will be conducted by means of an asset
purchase by ADF and/or its international subsidiary
companies.
6. The Kolkata-based FMCG major, Emami, has roped in
Bollywood diva Bipasha Basu as its brand ambassador
for three years for a contract of 3-4 crores..
Bipasha will promote the top brands from our portfolio
in the skincare and personal care segment.
Emami is still in talks to bring Malaika Arora Khan on
board for Zandu balm. The sales of Zandu Balm are
increasing at a rate of 45-50%.
