2.  Etihad Airways will be offering free visas to
people travelling from Kochi,
Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode airports to
Abu Dhabi.
 This was part of a special promotion of the
airline's visa processing service launched with
TT Services in May.
 T TServices is a focused visa outsourcing service
provider in India, Sri Lanka , South Korea,
Sweden , Russian Federation and the UAE.

3.  Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover launched
the armoured range of its Range Rover and
Discovery sports utility vehicles, with prices of
Rs 4.75 crore and Rs 3.75 crore .
 The company is also looking at launching the
armoured version of Jaguar XJ sedan, which
could be priced around Rs 5.5 crore.
 Tata Motors and JLR are currently working on
assembling some products from Land Rover in
India in order to meet demands in India.

4.  The financial services sector and corporates
expect the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to
hike key policy rates by 25 basis points.
 The repo and the reverse repo are the rates at
which the central bank lends and sucks
excess liquidity in the system, respectively.
 This would take the repo rate to 6.5% and
reverse repo rate to 5.5% from the current
6% and 5%, respectively.

5.  The Italian car major, Fiat, plans to open
exclusive company-owned brand stores in
major cities.
 The brand stores would be an indirect way of
starting its own retail format without involving
Tata Motors.
 Fiat will also display its merchandise and
accessories at these brand stores, which will
also serve authentic Italian coffee.
