8. Methodology
• Divide in groups, size will depend of number of people
attending the program
• There will be facilitators (IL InfoLit Standing Committee
Members) who will assist the groups
• Appoint a Chair from the group to lead the discussion
• Select a Secretary to take notes of your conclusions
9. Documents - Subgroups
• Subdivide your group in two
• One subgroup reviews the Directory and the
other the Report
• Once each subgroup finish browsing the
documents, they will exchange.
10. Directory - Task
• Check the type and the number of records it includes for
countries where participants are from
• Use the flyer to identify the IL resources categories
• Make recommendations on how to improve the country
content of both reference sources
• You can propose yourselves or someone else as country
contacts, ideally one per country
11. Report - Task
• Browse the State-of-the Art Report to see if your country
is included
• Assess if the report covers well your country information
literacy activity
• Use the flyer to identify the information literacy resources
categories
• If you country requires better coverage propose yourself
or someone else to complement/do the report
12. Conclusions
Secretaries need to hand in their
notes/recommendations to the facilitators
If time allows chairs will share the discussion
results
