Audrey Hepburn was born in Brussels, Belgium in 1929. As a child in the Netherlands during World War II, she helped fight against the Nazis. She came to America in her early 20s to star in Broadway and Hollywood films, instantly gaining popularity. Her notable film roles included Sabrina, My Fair Lady, and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Later in life, she received honors for her humanitarian work as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, helping children around the world until her death from cancer in 1993.
