PREPARING FOR THE BIG DAY

10. CAMERA
The act of capturing that important moment when two people
tie the knot has evolved into an art form. To produce the best
possible results, we bring a variety of videography equipment to
each event. Each cinematographer brings his/her DSLR camera,
with back up camera, prime lens set and stabilization
equipment. We have developed customized DSLR camera
profile settings to ensure our image standards are consistently
beautiful. We will provide an additional unmanned DSLR
camera set up for the ceremony to capture a third unique angle. AUDIO/
LIGHTING
Our approach to lighting is about sustaining the natural
environment. Our cameras retain high-quality imagery in most
lighting scenarios. We want people to look their best on camera,
so we do bring lighting and use it sparringly. We may put a light
on during speeches or critical moments to enhance the subject's
natural appearance.
We provide a full audio recording suite: wireless lavalier
microphones, XLR band/DJ cable plug-in and an H4N recording
device. Audio recording is significant to the storytelling process,
so we mic the groom and the officiant for the ceremony and
record the entire reception through your band or D.J.

14. We only use music we can legally license and unfortunately,
not every artist allows their music to be used.
We only use licensed music for two reasons. We purchase the
rights to our wedding film music so the artists we love get the
royalties they deserve. Secondly, we want to protect you and
our company from copyright infringement lawsuits.
As filmmakers, we love when couples give us the
flexibility to choose the right music for the edit, but we
also understand your desire to be a part of the process!
The music selection is the easiest way for you to provide
creative input. If you prefer to choose the music, we offer
an opportunity to pick a song from our curated list
of licensed music!

FOOTAGE AND ADDED TO A TIMELINE. AUDIO IS SYNCED TO THE
FOOTAGE.
THEY ARE NOT EDITED IN CINEMATIC STYLE, UNLIKE OUR TRAILER
FILMS AND FEATURE FILMS.

USB will contain all the raw footage from your wedding along with the Spotlight Edit
This hard copy will be delivered via US Postal Service
You will receive your Trailer digitally via email and your Spotlight via USB
in the mail

The USB will be formatted for PC and Mac computers
Raw footage is unprocessed data straight from the video camera
It's unrefined. The footage remains as it was captured, retaining all details, true

We shoot with DSLR cameras which results in a variety of clip durations. Footage
clips can vary from a short of amount of time to a long period of time.
Duration of clips can vary from a few seconds to a few minutes
