• Ensure the play area is clean and clear and that there is enough
space.
• Keep blocks organized on open shelves and with labels. Do this to
make it easier for the children to play with and clean up.

• Reading the ECERS-R and following the
guidelines will make it easier to make sure
the children have the exposure they need for
growth and development.
• Focusing on the higher end and standing
clear of the minimum requirements is a way
to make sure the children are treated fairly.

• As a teacher I will follow the guidelines and
ensure the needs from the children are met
and the highest level possible. By staying
current with the guidelines and keeping up
with them the children will be able to grow
and develop as they need to. As a teacher it
is my responsibility to make sure the children
have to make sure they have everything they
need.
