The Dietrich Pension Risk Transfer Index has been designed to create a monthly 88.21
benchmark that tracks the relative attractiveness of annuitizing accrued pension
obligations by considering three key underlying financial ratios 80 95 105 120

Commentary: The monthly index level was driven lower by a combination of slightly lower annuity rates and a fairly significant drop in pension
funding levels. The current annuity discount rate used within the index is 2.85%.
